How I know Obama is a Communist - ALAN KEYES
America's Independent Party ^ | Sunday, February 22, 2009 | Alan Keyes

Posted on 02/22/2009 11:26:27 AM PST by EternalVigilance

Loyal to Liberty THOUGHTLET

What signals the difference between a "socialist" and a "communist"? It's the gradual repression of political and civil liberty culminating in the open prosecution and suppression of dissident views. But this suppression cannot come about until a monopoly has been established over access to the seats of government executive and decision making power. The key manifestation of this monopoly is of course some form of party dictatorship.

Aside from all the evidence in his known background, associates, policy preferences and political actions one of the main reasons I make bold to call Obama a communist is his grab for unchecked partisan control over the conduct of the next census. Skillful manipulation of the census could make the decisive contribution to establishing an electorally unchallengeable party monopoly, which would then provide the basis for consolidating party dictatorship. If such dictatorship were not part of their agenda, the Obama faction would leave ultimate oversight of the census process where the Constitution places it in the hands of the legislative branch. As it clearly is part of their agenda, only ignorance or willful stupidity blinds people to Obama's ambition to establish a better tailored version of Soviet-style government in the U.S.

Of course, there may be another name for what keeps some of the so-called Republicans from speaking out about it. Could it be cowardice?

So you would prefer Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to implement the 2010 Census to Judd Gregg? I see.
By the way, the Bureau of the Census is located in the Commerce Department and Commerce is an executive branch department which actually IMPLEMENTS the Census. Congress authorizes the Census and appropriates funds for it but the legislative branch has never actually conducted the census.

I really don't care what you think.

Alan Keyes is one of the few people in the American political scene who is challenging the authority of Barack Obama. Keyes is pro-American and pro-life.

The fact that you want to discredit Keyes hurts the effort to preserve the American way of life.

So please, go back to DU if you are gonna make this a bashfest toward Keyes.

wouldn't they then start to believe that the person's first party's argument is weak?

The election should have been one's first notion that 50% of the US public cannot vote based upon intelligence or knowledge of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. What makes one think they can make the decision that Keyes is correct when speaking specifics about Obama? I'm going after the bumper sticker

RE “Is that what you’re after, to be “entertained”?

It’s his main quality. He is like a radio talk show host. This is not about me. You dont know anything about me and you offered no ideas yourself.

RE :”If that’s your measure of a man, I’m sure you love Obama, since the opposite is true of him.”

Let me try your approach. If you like election losers for republicans than you love the GOP party that just handed Obama/Pelosi two elections and the economy. Rejoice in loss. Victimhood must be sweet to you. It’s about YOU!

Well, he is acting contrary to American culture. Generally speaking, we have not had dictatorships attempting to silence critics. Although I am sure someone here will raise the topic of the Civil War.

Obama himself is alienated from American culture and had an upbringing in childhood in a foreign country in the Third World. Also, he was not raised as a Christian which places him at odds with most Americans. When he did become involved with organized religion it was a race-baiting black nationalist sect in Chicago where the preacher was immersed in Marxist Liberation theology. Adding that to the Saul Alinsky and Frank Marshall Davis stuff, he was immersed and surrounded by an atmosphere of Communism and radical Marxism. This is the most abnormal person ever to be in the White House. Weirder than Clinton or Jimmy Carter. You would have to go back to Vice President Henry Wallace to find someone even remotely close to his radical left-wing ideology.

People have to face the fact we have a demented Third World demagogue in the White House, probably suffering from a delusional narcissistic and borderline personality disorder.

He's becoming even more depressing than Jimmy Carter was, if that were possible.

No. It’s not about me. It’s not about winning or losing elections. It’s about what is right and what is wrong.

I know Alan Keyes, and his life is devoted to fighting for what is right. I don’t know you, and can only form judgments about you from reading your completely empty and meaningless posts on this thread.

Why didn’t you say that, instead of denigrating him from your first post on the thread?

The Census is always under the control of the party in the White House. I don’t get what difference it makes whether the Commerce Department runs it or whether the White House runs it, its still Democrats for 2010.

The difference is that when the Commerce department runs it, the rules and methods used to tally the numbers must be made public. The Executive is under no such rule. He doesn't have to tell you anything about how the numbers were arrived at. Did you knock on those millions of urban doors or did you use some special Al Gore science to figure it out?

Whatever faults Dr. Keyes may have has a politician (and every politician of every stripe has faults) are orders of magnitude outweighed by his profoundly eloquent understanding of the philosophical and moral roots of American constitutional liberty. When I listen to Keyes I hear the brilliance of the founders updated for an era in which moral relativism, political corruption, situational ethics, cultural marxism and corruptive globalism all to often rears it’s ugly head and predominates.

Alan Keyes’s opposition to to these destrutive influences are uncompromising. His ability to precisely define why these vices are so corrosive of our constitutional claims to liberty and self governence is what so unnerves his opposition, particularly those who can only be seen to have tenuous claims to be on the same side of the issues as Keyes is. I am referring to those who would create common ground and accomodate the depraved forces who seek to undermine, disrupt and destroy the foundational principles and very best parts of American liberty and Western Civillization.

I worked periphally for Alan Keye’s senatorial campaign as a surrogate speaker in opposition to the hideous prospect of a US senator called Barack Obama. It is one of the things in my life that I am most proud that I had an opportunity to do, and that I was even considered worthy to be good enough too do. What was done to Alan Keyes by the leadership of the Illinois Republican party was an absolute disgrace that I hope will be revealed by the future historical record, and whose record of perfidy toward conservative candidates is disclosed by it’s present pitiful state.

God bless Alan Keyes for his courage and willingness to seek the truth as it can best be discerned.

"Keyes only impresses me more"

He's always impressive and he stood up to "the one" in the IL senate race. Of course he didn't have a chance for many reasons. What scares people about Keyes is his right / wrong convictions and intensity. He's too blunt for many people's liking (he's not a moderate in any sense).

Please consider emailing to friends, posting in blogs, forums, and social networks

Tonight:

ALAN KEYES is the special guest on "The Awakening w/ Hanen & Arlen," on The Sentinel Radio Network, 2/23 at 8pm ET,,,5pm PT

Why is Barack Obama not accountable to Americans and to the constitution? Alan Keyes is on the move, to get to the dregs and documentation on Obama (in)eligibility. Obama had his lawyer threaten him and Keyes does not flinch. In fact, he has just laid in on the line, calling Obama a communist and calling him out on his "presidency."

Hanen and Arlen will ask the pointed questions and let Dr. Keyes speak his mind. (Why would we stand in his way?)

Keyes will then be joined by Thomas Hoefling, also of America's Independent Party, and "The Awakening" panelists and callers.

As you listen, join our chat room at www.tsrn.us/chat.

If you cannot access online, you may call to listen, at 646-727-2652

“Alan Keyes is not nuts. With this article he is dead on point. Period.”

Agreed...not sure why he’s been vilified so to speak around here. He’s a brilliant mind, understands the Constitution better than anyone I know and is passionate. That passion can be read wrong. He has fire in his belly that NOT ONE CONGRESS CRITTER or SENATOR has!
