I wonder if her father was as much a traitor as she is.. Her father served in the Navy during World War II.

Henry Fonda tacked mostly left in his young adult years, but never as far left as his starring role in
The Grapes of Wrath might imply. By the time his daughter was embarrassing herself and her family on the world political stage, he had tacked quite a ways back to the commonsense conservatism of his Nebraska youth. He once said to Jane, according to her own report, that he no longer believed the leftist vision of the world, and thought communism was specious nonsense, or words to that effect.
I think a good part of Jane Fonda's acting out over the decades is a manifestation of a deep electra complex, a psychodrama more about her own family than about any honestly and competently held political beliefs.

Still, Fonda maintained that Kerry's attempt to spotlight alleged U.S. war crimes in Vietnam was a patriotic act. "How can you impugn, how can you even suggest, that anyone like Kerry or any of these veterans were not patriotic?" she complained to CNN. "He was a hero there."
She didn't help him with that statement.
Question: Senator Kerry do you still stand by your comments that American soldier's committed war crimes in Vietnam......Ms. Fonda says you do.
Still, Fonda maintained that Kerry's attempt to spotlight alleged U.S. war crimes in Vietnam was a patriotic act.

Don't know if any of the above can be believed. Many quotes can, and have been attributed to those who are deceased and proving their accuracy, or inaccuracy, is not always easy.

Congratulations on a job well doen.
May I ask a question?
When the libs protest someone like Ann Coulter they go in to the venue and stand and scream and disrupt.
Was that an option?
Raise hell, get arrested and maybe some press for yor efforts.
When the libs do this kind of stuff nearly always the case gets thrown out of court.
Course this being a conservative cause it may get ya hard time in N.Y.

Perhaps I should qualify my remarks to agree that Fonda stayed liberal all his life, but rejected the hard left views of his young adulthood by the time his daughter became an activist.
I do recall distinctly, though, that Jane Fonda, at a time when she was going on talk shows saying things like, “If the American people only understood what communism was, they’d accept it joyfully,” quoted her father as saying something like, “I’ve thought about what the communists claim, and I just don’t buy it.”

We all owe you guys more than we can ever begin to repay.
And no one will ever do what was done to you, to anyone who served, in my sight and get away with it.
