He is barely four feet tall and looks even younger than his 13 years. Yet Alfie Patten has just become the proud father of a baby girl.
The schoolboy was only 12 when his girlfriend Chantelle Stedman - who is 15 - conceived after a night of unprotected sex.
Young Alfie appeared on the YouTube video website yesterday, cradling Maisie Roxanne. Her birth, on Monday, has provoked a new political row over 'broken Britain'.
But its significance may be lost on Alfie, whose immaturity is evident during the brief video clip, filmed after the couple's story was sold to The Sun and they appeared on the newspaper's front page yesterday.

Abstinence plus temptation minus moral training, without accountability = unwed teen births, abortion fodder and excuses for a Nanny State.
Abstinence until marriage creates no guilt and prevents the majority of factors that cause dysfunctional households.
True religion is ministering to widows and orphans with compassion...which helps to end the dysfunction from within.

After seeing that kid, I am pretty sure he was snookered into playing “having sex” after she was already pregnant by an older guy.

I’d read, when this first hit the news, that the young girl’s mother would allow the boy to sleep over with her daughter from time to time. HELLO?!! Why would anyone be surprised that the girl got pregnant?

I suspect you're right. He doesn't have any of the usual signs of physical maturation that would indicate he could actually father a child. A very little boy is capable of having an erection and physically conducting the sex act, but that hairless child probably doesn't produce mature sperm.

carefully, the girl’s acquaintances accuse her of being
considerably less innocent than she claims.
According to this article, not just Alfie, but other boys, too...in the daughter’s bedroom.
Even a 17 YO neighbor boy says that Alfie should get a DNA test.
The girl’s mother had to be complicit in it. RFollow the money.

Family can claim £30,000 beneftsChantelle Stedman can claim no benefits until she reaches 16, her next birthday.
But state benefits to support her and her baby will be paid to her mother Penny until then.
At a minimum, the family can expect to receive around £30,000 a year - close to £600 a week.
Penny, 38, will claim benefits to support herself and her four children including Chantelle.
She will also claim on behalf of new-born Maisie.
The family may claim benefits on the basis that Penny’s unemployed partner Steve is a live-in member of the household.
If so, their claims may look like this:
Child Benefit: Paid automatically for each child - £72.80 a week.
Council Tax Benefit: Likely to cover the full bill - £30 a week.
Child Tax Credit: Now the main payment to support children of out-of-work or low income mothers. Possible payment for the five Stedman children - £221 a week.
Income Support: If paid to Penny and Steve as a live-in couple - £94.95 a week.
Housing Benefit: Likely to cover the full rent of their council house, together with any service charges. This may be - £150 a week.
Total: £568.75 a week, or £29,575 a year.
Also, she lives in a “council house”; boy’s family lives in a 250,000 pound (~$500,000) home.
That presumes homogeneity within the sample population. I'll bet if you were to poll only the regular church attendees you would find correlation with other racial groups.
Actually, infamous teacher Mary Kay Letourneau was impregnated the first time by student and now husband Vili Fualaau when he was barely 13 years old. Faulaa was born in June 1983 and their first child was born in June 1997.
There’s thirteen and then there’s thirteen. There are some 12- and 13-year-old boys at my kids’ school who were grown men. Of them, I’d believe it. This little Alfie, with no Adam’s apple, no jaw, the skin of a baby, and no muscular development? I don’t think so. There’s a noticeable dearth of testosterone in that child.
