Black Americans have the highest rate of church attendance of any racial group in America, yet also the highest rate of illegitimacy. Have never seen a study comparing rates of illegitimacy by church attendance, however.
That presumes homogeneity within the sample population. I'll bet if you were to poll only the regular church attendees you would find correlation with other racial groups.
