Pfft...as one who has testified in Oly and so much more through the years, I don’t wanna hear about step aside. Of course, we do what we can. However, the delusion has been sent...we aren’t just “in a cycle” - all things have changed.

It isn’t just the pork that bothers me. It is the power the democrats are exerting, almost like a test, just to see how far they can go. They are drunk on their power, kind of like Obama taking Air Force One for a spin for the first time. Just because they can.

I was watching the House vote on CSPAN and happened to catch Rep. McCotter read this letter. His comments afterward were good also.

Excellent letter. I see very hard times ahead. Too many people are delusional bout the role of gov’t and what is truly freedom. And when the obambi fandance and strip show ends there will be a reckoning as the “somebody owes me something crowd” doesn’t get their free goodies anymore.

Do they know what it’s like to see the tears in your wife’s eyes

IT MAKE ME MAD AS HELL

This government is just plain Evil.

They take 40-50% of people’s income and their families have to do without. Give you an example, when you buy a loaf of bread at the store, it’s been taxed over 30%,cars,30%,phone bill 30%, cable bill tax 30%,gas and electric. I could go on and on and on put all of these charges are (hidden from the public) Now they want to take some of social security away from people. The government already took the cost of food and energy out of the CPI basket so they don't have to give the high cost of living to people to keep up with the cost of inflation.

Before they make any changes to social security, they should make changes to the money we give out to the United Nations and all other foreign aide.

Then the social security comes out of my check which is 8%. My company pays the other 8%.

If the government would have let me kept my money, I could have invested it at 4-5% a year, I would have over a million dollars.

What does the government do with all that money that people don’t collect?

Like my sister, that worked all of her life and never collected one social security check.

She died at 55 with no children

F--- Y-- Government takeing money away from family

Hold on guys, I was watching Olbermann tonight and he and his guest (Richard Wolffe) said the Republicans put themselves in big time political peril by voting against the stimulus and by extension The One.

If this man does go before Congress, I hope he gets a ride to DC in Queen Nancy’s plane.

When I told my 7 year old son we had to make cuts he just wanted to know if we could still have our Sunday morning treat of a donut before we go to church. That’s all he wanted. ... And ... companies given bail out money from TARP funds gave $18 Billion in bonuses,

That $18 Billion would buy donuts for every person in America for 2 years of Sundays!!!

“I’m guessing we will start hearing the phrase “civil war” being voiced more and more in the near future.”

Glenn Beck said the “r” word tonight. First depression, then revolution. When I see a tent city of people who look like my neighbors set up on the lawn of the Capitol Building, I’ll know its here. My pitchfork is ready....

Here's another example. I sell cars for a living. My store pays me a flat fee per car of a few hundred dollars. The store makes anywhere from $100 to may be 4-500 (rarely) for the car. The state gets sales tax of anywhere from 7.5% to 8.75%, depending on where the owner lives, and a license fee of about $225-300. So the state makes about $2-3000 per car, and the people who do the work in selling the car make hundreds. And if that car is resold, the state collects again.

The time is long past for action!

Recent polls show that less than 50% of Americans approve of this stimulus bill and yet Congress, with their recent 11% approval rating, the worst in history, tries to ram this bill down our throats. The send it to the Democratic Senate and tell us they know what’s best for our country. According to that 11%, I guess. Congress is supposed to govern for the people and not for themselves and yet when less than 50% approve of a plan they approve it anyway.

Why doesn’t the Senate have the guts to reject the pork spending portions of this bill and start over? Why don’t you get off your Ivory tower, pork barrel, ear marked, pet project behinds and do what we need of you?

Congressman McCotter, that’s what I’d like to say to the Senate. I would gladly go before them so they can hear what it’s like in the real world.

There are many who would like to tell Congress what we think of their bill and what it's like in the real world.

Thadeus is a good man.

He is my Rep, and while speaking to one of his staff I mentioned something a friend of mine and I have been discussing, the staff member mentioned she had heard it from others as well.

And that is Rep. McCotter may be the face and voice of Conservatives, Notice I said Conservatives and not Republicans. We are so lacking a voice. And he has passion and yes anger when needed.

We need to start organizing nonviolent acts of civil disobedience that will begin to make those in power uncomfortable. The Left has been doing this for decades and they finally won control of the country. We now live in a fascist state.

You are exactly right. They are drunk on the power and they are going to push it. The problem is that we may have a hard time getting them out now that they are in.

4 billion to Acorn and a census under the control of the White House.

My only hope..and it is just a dream..is that Obama is forced to show that birth certificate and he is not eligible...

Tennessee Senators are joining the fight. Somehow, I think no matter what Obama is going to become a Hitler with Soros pulling the strings. Soros was probably behind that big financial hit in September that everyone is starting to talk about right now.

God help the peons of the USA
