Fellow Patriots,
Obama and his Socialist Democrats have truly thrown down the gauntlet with their Trillion Dollar "Stimulus" bill. The Democrats are going for broke to move America into a condition of permanent Socialism. Next stop: full blown Marxism / Communism.
I've become convinced that we citizens no longer have true representation in our government, and our votes aren't making much of a difference, either.
No one in Washington is listening to what We The People need and want any longer.
The Socialist Democrats and RINOs now in power are only interested in solidifying their power base and their complete control over our existence. They will ignore or destroy the US Constitution to achieve their aims, if necessary.
We The People must do something now to effectively stop, or to at least slow the ongoing process unfolding before our eyes. To say that we will lose our country if we do nothing, is no longer frightened rhetoric in my opinion.
Short of armed insurrection, there's only one other effective way that I can think of to put the brakes on this madness, and that is a widespread tax revolt.
Why should the hard working, tax paying, law abiding members of this country pay the lawless usurpers in our government to enslave them, and their children? Answer: they shouldn't.
Our country's first form of protest against the suppression of Great Britain was a tax revolt. The Boston Tea Party was the ignition point that got the American people on their feet, and galvanized them to fight back against the real tyranny of the time.
It's my opinion that we need to repeat that very effective protest now. Here is my concept for striking an effective blow against the encroaching and real tyranny we face...
We need at least Ten Million Americans to commit to simultaneously stop paying all federal taxes. It has to be a number that large to ensure the safety of all who join the effort. The government is large, but they don't have the power or the resources to prosecute ten million tax resisters.
I would like to get a website up where people can read about the tax revolt and the reasoning behind it.
The site should have a place where each person who agrees to join the revolt can anonymously sign a pledge to stop paying federal taxes, once we reach the ten million mark.
A person would simply check a box (similar to an online poll), indicating their agreement to join the tax revolt.
The site should have a counter prominently displayed, keeping track of how many people have joined the tax revolt.
The site should have a forum to stimulate discussion about the tax revolt and the myriad reasons for it. This will also encourage a great many people to join the revolt, when they can read the thoughts of other patriots.
The site should also link to other like-minded patriotic websites and forums.
When the ten million mark is reached, the announcement to begin the tax revolt will be posted large on the front page of the site. On that day, ten million (or more) Americans will cease submitting to the extortion of their hard earned money by the Socialist usurpers in Washington.
There is strength in numbers. People will find the bravery to do this, if they see that millions of their fellow Americans are ready, willing, and committed to fight back.
I've been floating this idea on conservative discussion forums for many months now, and have gotten nothing but positive feedback about the idea.
Apparently, there are millions of Americans who want to do something effective to fight back, but don't have a ready answer as to what they can personally do. Many also have the spirit to fight, but don't see any organized resistance that they can join.
Someone's got to start the ball rolling. I think that this is an idea that will work. It could snowball into a full-scale tax revolt on the part of the American people, if it's simply launched.
As I said, short of armed insurrection, I can't think of anything more effective that the American people can do to get the government's attention, and which can put The People back in the driver's seat where they belong.
Naturally, there are a lot of things to think through before putting up such a website. I don't want to try to cover them all here, but I'm sure you've already thought of a few. They do need to be discussed and resolved.
Please let me know what you think of the basic concept, and what your thoughts are regarding the construction and maintenance of the website.

BUT, your “Starve the Beast” is what we will be doing....getting out of Bank of “America” right now....bought everything needed pretty much by 1/20/09....TurtleOut is the plan, except for building Conservative clubs....give to NO organization (or business) that supports Democrats OR Democrat ideas (Habitat for Humanity, United Way, etc.) Only to NRA, conservative Churches, and certain Military organizations.

I'll pass an audit. As I said, I have the paperwork, and the donations were real. In my last audit, they actually found that I deserved more money back - NOT worth the time or aggravation, but I'm not going to violate the letter of the law (just the spirit).

Geitner would probably direct the IRS to file Substitute File Returns on behalf of the protesters.

I see nothing deceitful about simply not paying all of the taxes the marxists say we should pay. There is also no trickery. As far as unfair or dishonest advantage, the reduced (or zero) tax liability would simply be our own economic stimulus.
It's not hard to fill out the form for an automatic 1040 extension (you have until August 15 to file). The only catch is, you're still required to send any payment that you owe by 4/15, with the extension form.
It may still cause a big shockwave to have so many extensions. Imagine those IRS workers, being forced to process millions of extensions in AUGUST.

Everyone has to do what works best for them. I recommend legal stuff though. Write every expense down and then evaluate...how can you reduce this? Stop eating out. Shop second hand and garage sells. If you can afford it take a day off and don’t draw vacation or sick time. Tuesdays are a good day to stay home and not spend anything. With enough people cutting back those sales taxes will add up fast.
The reason is really quite simple: with or without the 'stimulus' package, total GDP is going to contract a minimum of about 10-15%. This means that unemployment is going to hit somewhere in the neighborhood of 20%.
So, put it all together. Unemployed people who are operating in the black/gray (cash/barter) market economies just to get by day-day neither report nor pay taxes. Of course, they have limited or no credit, so non-essential consumption goes out the door as well. To cap it off, they increase service demands on the state for things like UI, housing, food, medical, etc.
Do you see the picture? Without doing a dang thing, we're gonna see huge shortfalls in tax receipts (income, sales & property) combined with skyrocketing demands for support. No state can take this 1-2 punch, including the US. This is why Hussein's economic team is frantically trying to reignite the FIRE economy via spending bills and banking bailout provisions. But it is all to naught.
Our socialist country is simply not going to have the sufficient financing to fund the welfare state. No payments, no peace. And it isn't going to be conservatives doing the rioting. Just sit back, watch & prepare. Don't make yourself a target via illegal tax evasion. Events brewing for over 70 years have been set in motion, and there is no stopping the end game from being played out.
And on the heels of that, the dollar will be devalued to nothing, ushering in the age of Herr Obama, Fuhrer for Life.
I firmly believe that this is their plan. We've got to do something to stop this.
I’ve considered your theory/scenario, and feel that it’s close to what we’ll soon see, but it doesn’t eliminate the need for the people to do something proactive to address the usurpations and violations of our Constitution now occurring before our eyes.
I feel that to simply sit back and wait for the “inevitable” to come, is just submitting to tyranny and enslavement.
My view is that our country is being commandeered by traitors and thieves. The right thing, is to fight back against that theft. Only the form of resistance should be in question - not whether we will resist.

Well...I said elsewhere EVERYONE should file for a “delay” for your taxes....it doesn’t cost anything....except...my brain seems to be reminding me now, that you’re supposed to pay an “estimated” amount.....hhmmmmm....any tax accountants here?
Second, if you do owe money, when you file your extension (Form 4868, Application for Automatic Extension of Time To File U.S. Income Tax Return), you are supposed to include your estimated amount due. If you underpay at that time, you'll owe taxes plus interest and penalties (unless you're nominated to a cabinet post, where the penalties will be waived).
The best bet for this is to file Form W-4 and claim exemption. There's a place on the form for this. I'm not sure what the penalties are for claiming exempt status if you don't meet the requirements. And your company might discourage you, refuse to participate or even rat you out to the tax man.

Too few are remaining that recall the traditional values days of the 40's and 50's, and with decades of indoctrination by the NEA-led "teachers" and Liberal Professors in colleges, there are few truly concerned folks remaining. Couple that with 3rd-generation welfare fatherless "families", and the promotion of "single parenting", and we were ripe for the Socialist picking.
There's no judicial system left, the Constitution is relegated to the trash pile, and with half the population thinking they have a "better way"; it will take decades to return America to its roots.
The destruction of the economy was NO accident; and where did the nearly $1 billion to elect The Messiah come from?
Our generation may never know who or how this was foisted on us, but somewhere down the road, someone will find the facts.
In the meantime, buy guns while you can, and ammo, and stock up on canned goods.....it's going to be a tough road ahead for those who have EARNED their own way, only now to be attacked to "share" with those who sat on their dead asses and took whatever handouts the Democrats would give them.

Yes, I am shouting. Conservatives are either deluded or asleep, and we will not have victory unless we understand who and what the enemy is.
