Severin: Porkulus includes medical care rationing based upon person's age
WTKK-FM | 2/9/09 | Severin

Posted on 02/09/2009 12:32:36 PM PST by pabianice

Jay Severin is on now on WTKK-FM, in Boston.

Severin, a "recovering lawyer," claims that part of Porkulus includes rationing medical care by a formula based upon a patient's age. The older the patient, the further back in line a person stands for any treatment. The bill includes a National Healthcare Office and National Healthcare Coordinator (a WHAT?). ACORN's $4.1B remains in the bill. ACORN is the current iteration of the Black Panthers.

“I have a feeling there’s going to be a huge underground economy. How many medical professionals will work on the side? How many business will be cash only? It worked for booze, drugs, cigarettes. Why not the rest of the economy?”

Capitalism at it’s best! Why not! Sounds like’free trade’ to me! All they’re telling us every day is that we are no part of this economy. Hey..we don’t make the rules, we just find a way to tolerate ‘em. Just like they do in Mexico or any 3 rd world socialist dump.

Mordida, baby! We’ll adapt, one way or the other.:<)

“However, centralized control and access to all your health information including your history is a prerequisite for rationing and risk-based healthcare decisions. Something pretty sinister is going down here, right before our eyes.”

In other words, your medical records are going to be as screwed up as your credit report. It’s a nightmare in the making.

Remember? Odrama said that this bill was only the first step. Give him a little more time for the suicide centers.

Federal employees can stay in the Federal employees Health Benefits program after 65. This is the program that members of Congress use. I’ll be shocked if they ever ration their own care.

And to think the RATS screamed when Rudy Giuliani said they wanted socialized medicine...

Oh, but Granny Pelosi or Clinton will have great healthcare whenever they want it.

I heard Rush talking about this and finally got back online. The first thing I thought of was the swimmer having cancer. He is far beyond his "expected" life range to have care compared to the cost. BUT, they have their own health care - provided at taxpayers expense.

Daschle’s revenge: Porkulus also a universal health care Trojan Horse

I’ve made note before of the Generational Theft Act’s universal health care promotion provisions (see here).

yeah, I just read today that the Prime Minister of England says people MUST donate their organs etc. when they die. K. What are they going to do with all those spare parts if the need for them drops? Got freezers? Who will be the guests of honor at the funerals? Open the casket and find an IOU in there?

"I searched on www.stimuluswatch.org and found nothing under National Healthcare or similar terms. Anybody have the whole bill to search?"

Rush has a link to a downloadable version of the whole bill on his website. The pertinent parts are in the "page 400 up" range.

Many a 65 year old can harvest a prairie dog at 250 yds with a .223

That might be the thinking behind this:

Scan has been terific.

Here in San Diego County they are tied with Scrips doctors and hospitals which are really good.

There is no aditional cost above standard Medicare and Part D is covered at no premium.

I keep wondering what the insurance companies and doctors are going to do with this. How does this “plan” work for them?
