Excellent! She’ll almost be 70 by the time she gets out if she isn’t allowed to leave early on parole.

In her plea agreement, she also admitted causing another $3 million in damage through other acts from 1999 to 2003, including destroying homes under construction in the Detroit area and Indiana and setting fire to two boats owned by a man who formerly raised minks.

Wow. Twenty-two years on a plea agreement. That's gotta send a message. I think most of these ELF folks expect wrist-slaps with a little but of token jail time for their destructive acts. Not in this case.

I wish they can find the urban terrorists that set fire to equipment and new construction here in Washington. They’ve burned this big condo site and a model street of houses that were built Green ...

Marie Mason decided to “elevate her grievances beyond the norms of civilized society”...

Not a good idea.

“elevate her grievances beyond the norms of civilized society”...

So now the courts don’t like people acting outside the “norms” of “civilized” society?

Seems to me that for all of my adult life the courts defined ‘civilized’ as the condition of “understanding” the ‘root causes’ of such behaviour and ‘rehabilitating’ these victims of society’s shortcomings.

Hmmmm...I wonder if the court has it’s nose in the air and is suddenly sensing a lot of angry dissatisfaction with an out of control elite?

"I meant to inspire thought and compassion, not fear,"

BS. What do you think destroying years of research (meant to help starving black people in Africa, you leftist, racist b$tch), public property, and instilling fear in anyone who does agricultural research is? I call it inspiring fear and you deserve every day the judge gave you. Rot in jail.

You don't wanna eat GMO foods, I'm not going to argue. But you don't have the right to destroy property and research because some people hold differing opinions on GMO research.

What a shame and waste.

Had she just just used the right slogans, they could have sentenced her to teaching at Chicago University, or even Northwestern School of Law.

Free Marie Mason

Sigh; wish we caould all just sit down and sing:

Where have all the radicals gone, long time passing?
Where have all the radicals gone, long time ago?
Where have all the radicals gone, long, long ago?
Gone to graveyards, every one; we have finally learned!
