Having been around since the days of Franklin D. Roosevelt, I have seen twelve Presidents come and go prior to the $160 million coronation of Barack Hussein Obama.
I have got to tell you this guy scares the heck out of me.
I am used to guys like Harry Truman who, when the job was done, got on the train and went home without any fanfare. He was so broke Congress had to vote him a pension so he could afford to buy postage stamps. He turned away offers to sit on the boards of corporations because, as he put it, he wasnt President anymore and he wasnt going to sell the title for a few bucks. Its called integrity.

Obama is a whole different creature. Hes half black and half white. He spent the early part of his life being raised by a Muslim stepfather in Indonesia. His actual father was from Kenya where he had another wife, was Muslim, and ended up dying in a drunken car crash because he had blown a promising career. Later Obamas mother divorced and came home, handed the kid off to be raised by her parents, and, well, who knows?

[Obama]s surrounded himself with loonies that want to take away our guns, that think coal-fired plants to generate electricity are evil (they provide over 50% of all the electricity!), wants Detroit to make cars that no one wants to buy, and to make nice with Iran while they kick sand in his face.

This guy is the wrong man in the wrong place at the wrong time.
To be charitable, lets give him a whole month in the White House
and then find a way to impeach and remove him.
This is like having Jimmah Cartah back in the White House. The only difference is, this time, it’s worse.
Yeah - that’ll work when the majority of our fellow-Americans think he’s gonna save them and put their trust in him.
“This is like having Jimmah Cartah back in the White House. The only difference is, this time, its worse.”
Post 9/11 times are much worse indeed.
Jimmy Carter with slightly darker pigmentation.
Otherwise, little difference.
Except (drum roll here) Carter actually had more experience than 0bama did before taking Office.
The flip side is four years from now Conservatives are going to be looking very good to average voters across the board.
Just like in 1980.
Then we get Joe the Clown.
Yeah, Carter merely sympathized with America's enemies.
We are stocking food (canned goods and things that keep without refrigeration), ammunition, fuel and other misc anticipated needs, and we are digging in!
Yes.....he and his ilk are indeed scary, but whats even more unsettling, is the American public. What it has gradually morphed into, and where it is likely to go.
In two years time, the reality will make the Boston Tea party look like a kinder-garden attempt at humor.
That is why I held my nose and voted for MCLAIM.
Too little too late. Not a solution.
Stop the stimulus bill ... much as we stopped the amnesty bill. At least we pushed it back. It will rear its head again soon. We must be vigilant and steadfast.
Push back with might for 4 years, if necessary; and beyond. Never stop.
Oh, I can't imagine why you might say that...

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the 2008 Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare...”
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the “complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote
.........The rest is history
The market is up today, I guess because the porkulus bill is stalled. We need to keep up the card’s and letters.
We also need to pressure the media. Cancel subscriptions to MSM and Newspapers. We need to show them what “fairness” is all about.
In short we need to peacefully revolt against the enemies of the Republic.
The republican brand is damaged beyond repair IMHO. I think civil unrest will take care of the parties as they are today. I think the biggest fear the American government should be concerned with right now, is it's people and that is likely a understatement.
interesting statistics in post 13.
The flip side is that a major American city may be burning, and the economy is worse than the mess created by FDR’s redistribution projects.
Small world I guess...I was 3rd AD, 23rd Engineers....1969-72
At least with Jimmy Carter you didn’t have to worry that he was going to hand the country over to terrorists or create a one-party repressive state. Jimmy Carter loves America. Obama has only contempt for America. Taking America down is his mission in life. And exercising power and keeping people down and beholden to the government is what an egomaniac thrives on.
