The new Great Communicator ... isn't (Libs getting nervous)

Obama is the most remarkable Democratic communicator of my lifetime, I think, and even he's not rising to the task, yet. He needs to lay out his priorities, clearly; he needs to simplify his pitch, yet he also needs to add some depth to his and our understanding of how we got here. This economic crisis is not just about bad mortgages and/or the housing bubble bursting, and it won't be solved by reinflating that bubble, the Republicans' latest dumb idea. These problems have been building since at least the 1970s. Here's how Reich laid it out on Salon....

The power of liberal dominance of the media is that they can blame the Republicans for everything. It reminds me of Orwell's' 1984. Rewrite the news to fit the needs of the state. The Republicans had little to do with this economic mess. First, they are usually the minority party, second all of the bad guys so far have been Democrats and huge Democratic party supporters, third, Bush was a serious RINO and gave the Dems what they wanted more often than not. Its them, folks but the media says its us.

Wait until the stimulus fails to pass. Republicans fault. Wait until the stimulus passes and doesn't work. Republicans fault. Wait until the stimulus passes and works. Republicans were obstructionists and didn;t support the miracle... yada yada yada.

The left is certifiably insane and they are communists, sprinkled with sharia.

After reading the article, it is interesting where they put the blame for stagnating wages, and then the reason women went out to work.

The way I see it, they missed the boat here. Women started going out to work en masse during the industrial revolution during the war when their men left, isn’t that correct? Then, when their men came home, they went back to their homes and the men took over the jobs they left, and women felt relegated to homemaker again. With all the modern technology that became available to make their home life easier, women became bored and wanted to do “more” than just raise babies and wash dishes, so they started to fight to get out of the house, hence the womens lib movement was born.

Women burned their bras, took contraception to legal status and swallowed it like candy, and entered the workforce by choice in huge numbers. This pushed the cost of living up dramatically due to a much larger disposable income. Women who chose to stay at home were labelled losers, and old fashioned, and were told they were hurting the feminist movement by not abandoning their children in daycare and letting the government raise them to pursue a career.

After only 40 years just look at the destruction of family due to this progressive movement, and one can see it has been the cause of every bad thing this nation is yet to endure. The one thing the feminsts have gotten most women to forget is “the hand that rocks the cradle, is the hand that rules the world”. With government rocking the cradle the last 40 years, how can we be surprised that socialism/marxism now is in charge?

As Karl Rove said last night, Obama is “winging it”

Ya gotta love Karl Rove....that is the PERFECT description of Obama's lack of experience and knowledge.

WINGING IT

Yep.

The chickens are COMING HOME TO ROOST, America.

Libs took only a month to see what we saw all along?

wow- that's break-neck speed for them...

Usually it is forever for them to get a blinding flash of the obvious

Exactly. If socialism is so wonderful - and its the wave of the future - take the credit for it! They don't need us to make it happen!

Reich needs to be sent back to the lollypop guild, it’s no wonder that Obama is crashing and burning with twerps like that advising him.

Though Obama can do marvelous job of that by himself....

I stopped reading this drool when she endorsed “The Case for Big Government”.

The idiot actually believes what she’s writing and therefore not to be taken seriously.

The American people don’t stand behind this “stimulus” package because it’s a bunch of bloody hogwash. We saw what these bailouts and packages have created and we don’t like it!

The comments thread on Salon is another enlightening read. A couple people said that the answer to the Democratic woes is to tag the Repubs as “selfish.” They don’t get that human nature is selfish. The Libs refusal to comprehend or accept original sin is the basic flaw that undermines all their Utopian schemes.

Obama does NOT have the respect of Democrats in congress. He is dead in the water. Congress wants to drive Obama’s agenda.

To date Obama is not in control of ANY legislative agenda.

Regan is still the one.

Note how the left had forehead begalla attacking Rush yeterday on CNN.

It is a pathetic effort to conceal the fact that Obama IS the left and his message of being centrist is falling appart like a house of cards.

As Karl Rove said last night, Obama is “winging it”.

The man is clueless and this Presidency will be a disaster.

I'm in an odd place right now. I'm simultaneously praying that you're right, and that you're wrong.

He could lock himself in the Oval Office ....smoke a joint or sniff a line .... only several weeks into his presidency and to me the country (those that support him) are slowly starting to take a second look at him. I’m just wondering how long it’s going to take the media to throw him under the bus - and America with him.

I never thought it would take only two weeks for this guy to show how in-over-his-head he truly is. Geeeez....

This reminds too much of the SNL skit where Barry is calling Hil’ at 3:00am in a blind freakin’ panic wondering what he’s gotten himself into.

0 needs to do what he does best and has done seeming immediately after he has won the previous election...vote present or avoid actually voting itself and start campaigning for his next office. Perhaps he can figure out a way of avoiding the nitty gritty presidential stuff and start running for term number two. If he was really creative, maybe he could figure a way to run against term #1 0 and ask for support for new and improved term #2 0.
