Etta James is not happy with President Barrack Obama or Beyonce. Apparently, at a recent show, the singer showed her anger while introducing her hit, At Last, the song that Obama asked Beyonce to sing during his first dance as President. Etta made a point to let the audience know that Obama was not her President. Burn
Etta told the audience, You know, YOUR President, the one with the big ears-he aint my President?had that woman singing for him at his Inauguration. Shes going to get her ass whooped. How dare Beyonce sing MY song that I been singing forever. Now Im going to sing it for yall .??

Tell Mama!
Well, bless her soul. I believe she’s the only entertainer I’ve seen who’s expressed their dislike of Obama. And, on top of that, she’s black.
It’s not much, but it’s a start.

At Last
A black entertainer who doesn't worship the one!
Etta James is portrayed by R&B singer and actress Beyoncé Knowles in the film Cadillac Records, which was released to theatres on December 5, 2008. The film is loosely based on the rise and fall of James' record label, Chess Records, and how producer Leonard Chess helped the career of James and her other counterparts at the label,
Wow! May that graphic become as famous as Registered’s crybaby from 2000.
Is this really true? ETTA is my all time favorite female singer, did she really come down on the right side of things???? She was always the best, my hero, but if she did this..........the only thing I can say is WOW
Ooh, there is a better one, but I don’t know where to find it.
She is mixed raced like the Dear Leader./Just Asking - seoul62.....
I don't know if I've ever heard her music, but I sure am going to now!
Time to stimulate the economy and support those who stand up!
The TV has been off here since 12pm Jan 20.
The Obathing is not my president eithah.
He does not satisfy the requitrements of article II , section 1 of the US Constitution.
Let me sing you THAT song Etta!
THANK YOU ETTA!
And I don’t want to come across as a know it all, but the fact is, if you’ve never heard Etta sing, you haven’t heard singing. Just my opinion, but she was the one who moved me when I was about 14, with her uptown arrangements of older songs, her unbelievable delivery of what I refer to as a “whisper to a scream” - once I get to her, I don’t know where to go. She’s the #1 female, any style, anywhere - and there’s nothing more wonderful than the fact she’s still out there - I am so proud of her and so happy for her. I remember when the “critics” chastised her for having strings on “At Last” and others of that era - yet now she is considered the standard for that song. To me she is the primary example of someone who has numerous career achievements, and comes out on top of all of them. Love you, Etta.
Very refreshing! A black woman who thinks for herself!!
Gawd, was she pretty ! And, brother, could she sing!
She still looks pretty damn good for her age.
Right on Etta. I loved your song and now I love your politics. He ain’t my president either.
Thank you, Candor7.
