Can you say Lincoln Chaffee?

Gregg should be shunned; but who can blame him for the important position of Commerce Secretary!!! Wow that will impress the ladies

There is One More Football Game Whose Outcome Is Widely Anticipated

Pascal Fervor
With his Provincial Papers, Blaise Pascal advanced the Age of Reason by ridiculing the corruption of the powerful. We live in an age where the powerful and corrupt are shameless. Still, if scorn is heaped high enough, it reveals their thinking that the rest of us are stupid. No despots can withstand such exposure for long.

"As part of a deal linked to Gregg's departure, she has agreed to caucus with Senate Republicans and not to run for the seat in 2010. "

Reports: GOP moderate Bonnie Newman to be new NH senator

The Dems have WON! Gregg should never have agreed to have a position in the Obama administration. It will not enhance his career, he is just a traitor to Republicans.

Is she married? I'm sorry, but she sounds like she comes from the GBLT community. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

We’d all be wise to remember this. As conquering generals were feted and showered with accolades and flowers from a Roman public, a slave whispered in their ear, “All glory is fleeting.”

These guys are just ordinary men like us. We expect too much of them which is the reason we need smaller government, not just by size, but by invasiveness.

Blago’s crime is the standard operating procedure for politics. The basic political currency is favors and debts. Every politician does what is best for him. How did Michelle O. get put on all those boards? She’s that talented?

Blago’s sin was crossing his FIL and Mike Madigan. Two of the most powerful men in the state. Every senator who sat in judgment is just as guilty as the man they condemned.

Judge [Kimba] Wood was Bill Clinton’s second unsuccessful nominee for attorney general in 1993. Like Clinton’s previous nominee, Zoe Baird, Wood had hired an undocumented immigrant as a nanny; although, unlike Baird, she had paid the required taxes on the employee and had broken no laws (Wood employed the undocumented immigrant at a time when it was legal to do so), the threat of a repetition of the same controversy ultimately led to a withdrawal of the nomination. Janet Reno was later nominated and confirmed for the post.

I’ve looked all over, but I can’t find anything on a husband, family, or lack thereof. If she’s a lesbian she must still be in the closet. I suppose we’ll learn more in due course.

How is picking a non-conservative Republican seriously much better than just picking a Democrat for this seat? If she votes leftist on most to all of the issues, then it really doesn’t matter, and with all of the RINOs in the current Senate, conservatives don’t have enough political clout anyways. She will probably vote with the Democrats on most issues and help the Republican Party and not just the Democratic Party get much of the blame for all future problems that will be coming for the next two years. The Republican Party screwed up yet again! Grrr!
