Have a look at DoD Directive 1404.10:
http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/140410p.pdf
Is this where Chairman Obama's mysterious 600,000 new jobs will be created? Does this remind anyone else of Germany in the first half of the 20th Century? Are we going to see brown shirts and black armbands in the near future?
Actually, today it's more dangerous for the DoD civilians, since Iraq is firing his Blackrock 'contractors'.
When he announced his candidacy, we said Not time to worry...yet.I don't recall anyone here at FreeRepublic saying "Not time to worry...yet" about any of your points, maybe I missed your comments.
As he outlined his political platform, we said Not time to worry...yet.
When he won the DhimmiRat nomination, we said Not time to worry...yet.
When he was elected, we said Not time to worry...yet.
When he announced the Porkumongous Spending bill we said Not time to worry...yet.
Man, you said it. Reynolds aluminum stock must be shooting up on record sales. The tin is flying out there.
I’m glad that I’m not alone.
Not time to worry...yet”
And this attitude is what got us a president ‘bama... It's past time to worry.
They WILL be deployed inside the US. Get a Q-tip, clean out your ears and listen real close....
he laid it out in plain English long before the election - had enough people “worried” THEN, we wouldn't be facing this now - it's going to get very ugly...
I'm having trouble with the links to the You Tube videos of ‘bama announcing his new police force - don't know if it's because people are finally curious enough to look at them - this has been all morning, and now, I'm having trouble even getting to You Tube itself. (I am having NO trouble with any other videos on other programs, like hulu.) So to watch the videos get the links from my post # 8
Do NOT be surprised to, in the not to distant future, see You Tube shut down or it's contents controlled.
To support the military and warfighting mission.
Youre barking up the wrong tree.
And, what was this expeditionary force of civilians called?
And why would Obama ask for something that already exists?
Damn right and he might be unarmed at that.
“but until it violates our Constituion, it is paranoid lunacy to be talking revolution.”
This is where I start to tangled up in my little brain. I know there are some who believe the Constitution has ben violated in a couple of ways and not just since husseinorama. So, what is the tipping point? Is there any wiggel room? Is one instance enough? Isn’t that why we have the courts? Once the courts are stacked, then we have no recourse.
I write this because I mull this over everyday. How will I know it is time?
I guess I need to “preview” before I post.
ben = been
I was an Emergency-Essential DoD civilian in 1985. They are used mostly to fill positions traditionally occupied by military or new positions that are essential to operations and administration during contingencies.
Anyone who knows anything about government should realize this directive has been in preparation for months if not years. Approvals, editing, meetings, teleconferences, coordination, then final signature. It was signed by Gordon England - who was a deputy secdef under Bush. This regulation is not something drawn up under Obama in the past ten days.
The wheels of government bureaucracy turn very slowly indeed.
I've been to the Ludlow monument many times, having grown up in Colorado and heard the history from both sides.
As I said, the incident is a perfect example of the evils of Corporatism which is Collectivism which is Communism. They are not separate, but, as Orwell recognized, synergistic.
Maybe you think company/syndicate owned towns and their script controlled serfdom/enslavement were/are a great idea?
Yes it was a century ago - and our would-be Oligarchs are betting that sheeple like you are too stupid to learn from history and see the parallels between then and now; and too stupid to recognize the observable patterns tied to exploitable human nature - the same patterns that have been recurring for as long as there has been human nature and human history.
It's the same exploitive nature the Oligarchs used to put Comrade Chairman Obama in the Oval Office.
Tyranny of the Appetite.
Same ol Same ol.
>>Fascism was a growing threat
Fascism is mandated subjugation and worship of the structure of governance. It's a behavior - not a "movement".
Corporatism == Collectivism == Communism; all forms of the same collectivist nature documented throughout the Bible, and generaly named in that book as Baal.
Welcome to New Rome. So long as the supply of Bread and Circuses was not diminished, the people of Rome were perfectly willing to worship whatever god the state mandated - and not much has changed
Bread and Circuses - something to remember as folks stuff their obese, beer swilling gullets with nachos during the Super Bowl tomorrow.
>>and civil liberties were violated regularly.
And they're not today? Worked in a Communist Chinese "Capitalist" shoe factory lately?
Out of sight, out of mind?
Well, I have said NOTHING about 'revolution" - my concern is that too many people have a 'not time to worry yet" attitude.
Would you consider a totally new layer of law enforcement in addition to our military - which includes States National Guards and the CoasT Guard, State Police, Sheriffs and Police - that was as big as, "just as strong, just as powerful, just as well funded as our military" something to "worry about"?
Could you cite where in the Constitution that is allowed?
Could you explain to us just what 'bama is proposing in this clip = and could you give us a heads up so's we'll know when we should 'start worrying"?

Now, why did Gandhi’s “Salt Making” strategy work against the British?
Would it have worked against Adolph Hitler?
What’s the difference?
>>>>> Ive already stated my concerns, as have others. <<<<<<
No you have not.
What are your concerns, specifically?
Government policies and “directives” and “guidance” are updated and released by the bucketful every hour in DC. So that in itself is nothing of any merit whatsoever.
What are you other *substantive* concerns?
>>>>>> Actually, today it’s more dangerous for the DoD civilians, since Iraq is firing his Blackrock ‘contractors’. <<<<<
DoD civilian employees never had any bodyguards of any kind including Blackwater.
When I was at CRC in El Paso I think they were issuing Beretta 9mm pistols and some target practice to DoD civvies, but that’s it.
RTFM.
