It's also suicidal and counterproductive.  Gandhi recognized this.  That's why, instead of providing the British Military Industrial Establishment with justification for using force and strengthening itself, Gandhi won India's independence by making salt.
 
The actions of Timothy McVeigh and Co., on the other hand, did nothing but empower the Federal Bureaucracy.
 
As Orwell recognized - the System expects revolt, and is prepared to profit from it.
 
Unfortunately for us, Salt is as cheap as Bread and Circuses; and so the sheeple-frog sits in the slowly boiling pot.  
 
By the time it figures out the plot of the main course, which it is, the sheeple-frog's legs are as cooked as the books of the Federal Reserve.
