Just heard on FoxNews that Obama is planning on asking the Joint Chiefs to cut the defense budget 10%.
Can’t wait to send my brother in law a snarky email and link. I told him over the holidays that the first thing Obama would do is cut the military budget. He acted like I was an idiot and said Obama wouldn’t do that with the economy on the brink..blahblahblah!
Let’s see..that amounts to about 1% per day since Obama got in office and they are saying it is only a start?

You know, this is just like Gun Control laws — as if those who want to destroy the U.S. are going to REALLY stop their nuclear programs? As if any of them are going to STOP building up their military?
Has he even bothered to run this by our Generals? Oh, I'm sorry - he probably thinks his “Educated Opinion” and “Philosophy” is more relevant than anything our military leaders tell him...

(Again not surprising but it's awful interesting how quickly he's trying to push these things through... I wonder if he's trying to get it all done before the 4-month cease-fire Al Qaeda was talking about?)
You need to correct that to 52.9% of the country wanted.
Does that include money set aside for the War Crimes investigations by Peliski and friends?

Step one in the reduction should be to ground Air Force One, then sell it.
After all, who does Obama think his is? Jetting around in his own private plane...

Tis is true. He’s cutting tri-care. But the rats are spinning it as if he’s helping the military.
No medical benefits for military, but free benefits for the people that won’t work.

In his first two weeks:
-Obama worked HARD to calm Muslim fears.
-Obama has asked that thousands of US workers be fired in manufacturing and research-(defense).
-Obama also killed 22 poor Muslims in Pakistan.
-Make homosexuals feel at home in the military.
- Pay back ACORN $800,000.00 plus PAC contribution with 4.18 Billion.
Aside from everything else, this is anti-stimulus....
It was what the idiots ,fools, parasites, and those that voted for him wanted. Of the votes cast, which is what matters,he got the majority.
I, myself did not vote for the sob and he will never be my President. None-the-less, more people voted for him than voted against him and that is why is in office.
I said before the election If the American people elect him, they deserve everything that he does to them.
They did and they are getting it.
In an election, the only votes that matter are the ones cast.
Two words:
Unilateral. Disarmament.
All departments need to be wacked 10-15%. I do not agree with pulling our troops out of those countries. Being in all of those places, as well as Iraq and Afghanistan, gives us the advantage of military readiness. It also impresses upon our enemies that we will not fight on our soil, but on theirs. Japan, Korea and Europe are all waypoints to the greater danger, and having a ready contingent of troops that Could pull out, and move to a more urgent area is better than having them sitting at home. Those posts are more pleasure than pain certainly.
