Has Obama Derangement Syndrome Arrived?
Pajamas Media ^ | January 28 | Robert Stacy McCain

Posted on 01/28/2009 9:54:47 AM PST by AJKauf

Actual evidence of an ODS pandemic, however, is sketchy. In fact, most references to ODS are from conservatives warning against “irrational rage,” as the blogger Neo-Neocon did at Pajamas Media just five days after Obama won the election. Similarly, David Horowitz invoked ODS in December to condemn a “fringe group” that had succumbed to “sore loserism” by floating the idea that a forged birth certificate had been used to hide Obama’s foreign birth, which allegedly made him ineligible for the presidency.

ABC’s Jake Tapper is the only mainstream journalist who claims to have diagnosed a genuine case of ODS, using the term to describe the suggestion by Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) that Obama’s vague reference to a volunteer civilian “national security” force was evidence of totalitarian ambition.

Beyond such “fringe” ideas, however, there is no evidence that Obama’s election has driven any substantial number of conservatives into the kind of irrational frenzy George W. Bush inspired on the left. ...

Hippie - Demoncrat - Democrap - Demorat - LIB - Socialist - whatever -——

A good solution is to add deep fat fryer grease (or olive oil, Crisco, etc.) to the gas tank of your recovery vehicle in hopes it will stimulate the economy.

We will sit here on the sidelines watching and laughing at your struggles.

When you have eghaused all of your energy and what exists of your limited brain power, we will take over and fix things with proven solutions that work every time they are tried......

Barack has been groomed since his 2004 campaign appearance. Two autobiographies (bought by Soros?) before he’d accomplished anything.

I’m happy to hear that.

I hope it’s contagious as well.

Kind of ironic, isn’t it. We’re now making nicknames for Obama and freaking out over every little thing.

Unlike them we have good reason.

The thing that upsets 0bama supporters the most is when you point out how STUPID the man is,

and how foolish his followers are for falling for well delivered speeches written by smarter (27 yr old) people.

When I read about tons of conservatives having to visit psychiatrists due to Bambi winning, like they did when Bush won, let me know. I also haven’t heard of a great many conservatives wishing to run to another country, even if we’d like too. :)

So what does it mean Tapper? "Vague"?

Obama: "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

So what are the "national security objectives" Obama spoke about? The is vague. Obama national security objectives I'm sure is different from what most Americans think.

This is getting specific: "just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

Hmmmmm? 'powerful and strong'. Civilian army divisions that are armed with heavy weapons, tanks and artillery? A civilian force that have wings of fighter aircraft?

"Just as well-funded"?

So this civilian force shall at least be funded to match a $515 Billion dollar FY 2009 defense budget? That's a lot of deniro.

Why does this country need a civillian force this big and powerful? I can think of only what totalitarian nations have done in the past, Pledge allegiance to their leader and be protectorates of their regimes.

Similarly, David Horowitz invoked ODS in December to condemn a “fringe group” that had succumbed to “sore loserism” by floating the idea that a forged birth certificate had been used to hide Obama’s foreign birth, which allegedly made him ineligible for the presidency.

A forged BC was floated by the 0bama camp so it's understandable that some would wonder why it was done.
