Conservative radio king Rush Limbaugh shot back at President Obama this afternoon - saying the new commander-in-chief is "not a unifier and not bipartisan" and is "more frightened of me" than he should be of Republican leaders.
"I think [Obama] wants me to fail," Limbaugh said on his show, rebutting Obamas' comments Friday that GOP lawmakers should not be listening to the right-wing talk show host.

Limbaugh Fires Back
Obama had warned Republicans on Capitol Hill Friday that they need to quit listening to Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.
"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his $825 billion stimulus package.
The conservative blowhard opened his show by saying, "I'm the man you should not be listening, according to President Obama."
Republicans have said that the price tag is too big a burden for a nation crippled by debt and that it doesn't do enough to stimulate the economy by cutting taxes.
"You know, I'm concerned about the size of the package. And I'm concerned about some of the spending that's in there," House GOP Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said after the Friday meeting. "How does that stimulate the economy?"
Limbaugh also said Obama is more than happy to "see me fail."
"He's more frightened of me than he is of John Boehner, which doesn't say much for our party," said Limbaugh.
He then said Obama's comments didn't matter, arguing that the president is "sprinting so far to the left" during his first week in office.
"The Republicans haven't been listening to me, anyway," Limbaugh said. "It's a moot point."

Actually, Rush used his radio show during the primaries to encourage Republicans to cross over and vote for Obama, because he and many others on the Right thought O would be easier to beat in the general election.
The Right's pathological fear and hatred of Hillary Clinton, along with it's equally pathological inability to rally around a genuinely competitive Republican candidate contributed to Obama's election. These were not the only reasons O won, but they contributed greatly to his win.
Indeed. Possibly to James Monroe and the "era of good feelings" (1820s)
Heh, heh, heh... Could this be the fight that ultimately draws Rush into declaring his candidacy? Stay tuned...
“Obama was stupid to take Limbaugh on.”
Exactly.
1. How many new people will tune in to Rush just to see what the fuss is about? Obama just made Rush’s ratings jump through the roof.
2. Obama is the POTUS and is getting into an argument with a radio talk show host. How dumb is that? This reminds me of when VP Dan Quayle took on the Murphy Brown TV show. Obama just reduced his stature by a big chunk.
3. This shows just how paranoid the left is about talk radio. I guess they really believe conservatives are a bunch of mindless puppets that believe whatever they hear on talk radio. I guess they haven’t figured out that Rush is just a reflection of his listeners (his audience is conservative, so he is conservative.)
Why is Limbaugh the only one standing up to Urkel? What does it say about the rest of the media?
“conservative blowhard”? LOL, I guess we know what THIS author thinks about Rush. No, no bias here!
"Are you kidding me?? Tell these liberal punks to take a hike. They are so full of themselves. They honestly think they speak for the whole planet! "
Read this, it describes the conflict exactly:
Galations 5:16-26 especially verse 17
I think you’re wrong. Rush wanted people to cross over and vote for Hillary to keep her in the race.
Conservative Blowhard so says the obamedia. No wonder their in worse shape than GM.
Pray for America, Our Troops and Obama’s Guidance

When I get home I'm signing up for Rush 24/7, because I'm at work when he's on.
Thanks for that link.
Actually, I thought he was encouraging cross overs to vote FOR Hillary, especially in those late primary states like PA.
The above statement is factually - false. After the Republican candidate was effectively decided, he urged people to vote for Hillary, not Obama, for the express purpose of exposing Obama for what he was. it was called operation chaos.

I’m very concerned about the size of Obama’s package as well. It’s too big.
