America's Chavez declares himself the "Decider". So much for reaching across the aisle and post-partisanship.

Obozo is exactly correct ... winners get to call the shots.

This has been a failing of GOP moderates, including W, who time and again bent over to reach out to Democrats at every turn ... instead of adhering to their values and acting like the majority (when they had it) instead of whimpering puppies trying to make nice with Democrats who wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire.

The answer “we won - buzz off” should have been forcefully put on the Democrats when they asked for power sharing, and legislative creation.

"I won," Obama noted matter-of-factly...

"America lost."

This is what Republicans need to do when they’re on top, but they never do. Right now, Obama’s on top and he knows it. He’s not going to reach across the aisle, he’s going to make the Republicans crawl to him...and they’ll do it. The only hand he’s going to extend is has a ring on it for McQueeg and Pandsey and that crowd to kiss.

Sounds just like Nancy Pelosi ... saying” we won get over it.”

They absolutely intend to do everything their way.

Bush said “I am the President of all the people”; and he certainly considered their points of view, and acted thereon.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

So much for reaching across the aisle and post-partisanship.

I've never heard Obama emphacize those things. The only ones I've heard using those words are Republicans.

More Orewllian doublespeak: An income tax refund for people who paid no income tax.

And what, exactly, will the money spent on contraception stimulate?

LOL! All that yak the O made about listening to other opinions...when in his life did he ever do that except between competing marxists?

Reminds me of a despot General I worked for once-

His first day on the job he held Commander’s Call, assembled the entire Wing , and said “My Door is always Open ... Just don’t come through it”

We got him when he left- gave him a radio set that was “transmit only”

Elections have consequences...maybe the next GOP President will stop the non-sense of “reaching out to the Dims.”

When will it ever occur to the whimpering PUBS that obozo & the RAT controlled Congress will NOT engage in bipartisan politics? They never have and never will. RATS motto is “Do it my way!” obozo & pelosi have already made their threats to keep the PUBS in line via communicating the threat to prosecute Bush appointees. Wake up, PUBS, and smell the manure being shoveled at you. Sheesh!

Well, it is very clear that both President Bush and Vice President Cheney already set the tone for this kind of action by saying that they were abandoning free market principles in order to “save the economy”...

It’s not like Bush and Cheney weren’t right behind this very thing, themselves, even offering to help Obama get legislation moving while Bush was still in office...

I’d say the Republicans in the Congress are “behind the eight-ball” on this one, giving the precedent of Bush and Cheney...

I wish Bush had taken the same attitude towards the Democrats. “I won. You lost. We're doing it my way for the next four years.” Bipartisanship is a joke anyway.
