"President Barack Obama reaffirmed his commitment to protecting abortion rights on Wednesday, the 35th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade, and said that it stands for a broader principle: that government should not intrude on our most private family matters...

Obama needs to watch this ad about himself...

Leopards can’t change their spots. Only the people looking at them can be blind.
didnt know life and death were private family issues
And as a lawyer (well, supposedly he is) he should also know that courts should INTERPRET the law, not LEGISLATE it.
Obam praising the Roe vs Wade decision reminds me of the election. When Christianity gained significant influence in some region of the Roman Empire, a first practice to disappear was the exposure of infants. Obama voted three times in Illinois for infanticide. Christians who voted for him, and there were many, abandoned Christian faith as a basis that decision. One could logically conclude racial prejudice became the dominant factor.
Celebrating the murder of those who can’t defend themselves. How typically liberal of him.
“that government should not intrude on our most private family matters..”
No Mr. Obama, government should not Fund nor make laws forcing places to participate in them. In the words of Walter from Jeff Dunham ... “Dumb Ass!”
I think it can be argued as simple self-indulgent self-interest, sloth and greed. A general disregard for the sanctity of existing life at the expense of ‘new’ life. It is a decay of the human spirit and eventual surrender to evil.
But, he said, "no matter what our views on slavery, we are united in our determination to prevent it, reduce the number of slaves, and support slave owners in the choices they make about their property."
This is completely Orwellian. Quite the contrary, Roe represents the intrusion of government on the entire citizenry with a one-size-fits-all set of guidelines that pleases no one. It prevents those who think that abortion is murder from making their voices heard by petitioning their state lawmakers, in whose province such decisions should be made. Or at least that was the original design of the founders. I forgot -- our politicians, from O on down, are in the process of dismantling that design completely.
“And on the National Mall, where millions gathered on Tuesday to witness Mr. Obamas inauguration, tens of thousands held a rally today marking the Roe v. Wade anniversary, followed by a march to the steps of the Supreme Court.”
Actually the satellite photos show about 800,000 at Obama’s inaugural. I wonder how many were there today at the Pro-Life March?
Government MADE the law!
What’s 40 million babies here or there? Doesn’t bother his people at all.

Watchu talkin’ bout, Willis? The drive-by media reported BILLIONS and BILLIONS of sheeple.
“...government should not intrude on our most private family matters...
I guess that means that the IRS won’t be able to look into your family’s bank records, right?
I couldn't have said it better myself!
One of the horrors of abortion is that it takes the skill of a physician licensed by the state to pull off this crime.
A license to kill another human being at the most vulnerable stage of life...so vulnerable that it needs the "protection" of the mother's womb!!
I can't even imagine.
