I guess that Jesus guy had it all wrong
If he succeeds he'll have to abandon the socialist wacky left mindset that got him where he is. So I hope he succeeds in being a good chief executive, but I'm not very hopeful.
I am not a patriot, I am a free man that will fight for liberty and against government aggression, oppression, servitude, and tyranny. Wish I had a subscription to the DMN so I could cancel the darn rag (No matter who they endorsed last October).
I do not wish him to succeed in enacting the leftist items on his agenda, such as card check, his healthcare plan and an illegal alien amnesty. All conservative patriots will work against these aspects of his agenda, for we believe they will harm the country just as much as liberals believe they will help it.

I agree. I hope he succeeds too and is a better president than we expect...he is already ticking off the left...let it continue. We have big problems and must deal with them now.
This is desecration...take it down until such time you deem proper. My son will soon be serving in the air force. The flag is to be honored at all times and should not be used in this manner.
...and if you don’t support tax increases, you’re a racist bitch. Neeneer neener neener.
This once proud republic deserves the government it elects.

Maybe you missed the end of that story. I don’t recall it working out all that well.
Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.
It's my flag, I'll fly it as *I* see fit.
Our country is in distress having elected the most inexperienced President in the HISTORY of the country. He's announced his plans to take this country's economy in a socialist direction, and he's already moving to take freedoms away.
If that's not distress, what is?
resurrection and apotheosis? not too bad.
I wish him all the respect and cooperation that President Bush received.
I guess you have different ideas...I have two flags given to me at funerals for those who served their country (in glass cases) and a son about to enter the military. My wife comes from a military family. Her Father once burned a pair of jeans she had sewed a flag patch on the seat. I consider the flag sacred and would never consider doing this...your choice I guess.
