Just a little tidbit about Janet Nap.
When she was running for Gov. and was asked the M (marijuana) question, she said that she used it twice, but didn’t inhale.
Now we have an “past” drug user as the New President.
An expectation that now the poorest will be elevated and the elite will be taken down a notch.
I would say that the class/celebrity/wealth tier system of this inauguration have pretty much nixed that happening.

Obama’s speech was a self-centered and a mess. His speech was mean spirited and confusing. He is already failing. And he ok'd a racist benediction.

I walked into a Subway-type fast-food joint yesterday, and I swear to God I overheard one of the counter people talking with two others about what she was going to do with the newest stimulus check.

No- Obama didn't say it- but the pastor who gave the closing prayer did. In his prayer he made some other allusions about racial injustice- but at the end he said we'll have justice "when yellow (man) is mellow, when the red (man) can get ahead...and when white will embrace right"..." It was appalling.

Note the difference “You’s alright” (as in ‘you is’) is a WHOLE lot different than what the Reverend said. And the man went through yellow and red.
It was crass.
I would have hoped that in the spirit of “uniting Americans” the rhetoric would have been left out and a true prayer for the continued existence of the country and the greatness of it’s people would have been much more palatable.
As one who came from a line of “civil rights activists” and I always have lived by MLK’s famous words, in the “Dream Speech”, I was incredibly offended.
If not for those “whites doing what’s rights”, Obama would not have been able to be President.
