Sadly, the 3rd Quad-Annual Quadrennial Free Republic Inaugural Ball in DC has been cancelled due to lack of interest. There will be no refunds (seeing as how no tickets were sold - and none offered).
However, now is the time to begin planning a conservative offensive movement.
How many of you would like to attend a two day conference symposium, er "FReepmeet" regarding taking back our country? It's been suggested that if we do this, it should be held in a central location or airline hub like Denver or Dallas so a maximum number of FReepers can attend.
If not us, who? If not now, when?

to both: that is a "no class"/classLESS woman, no matter what the main-SLIME, fawning, press says. (fyi, i used to be a "pageant coach" & i KNOW clothing/style.)
it would also be nice if someone taught her makeup techniques/how to walk/carry herself, too as well as how to dress. (after all,for good or ILL, she is "the First Lady" now & we are stuck with her for 4 years.)

I have a cousin in Missouri who has been a pageant coach and organizer for many years.
Michelle Obama has some good features, such as her height and her skin tone, with which much could be done. However, she's not making the most of her appearance at all, and her posture is a disaster. Maybe she's taller than her husband, but oh well. So is Nicole Kidman, and she doesn't slouch!
Very good. Michelle looks like a creature that just walked out of the sea, and now, later in the movie, she befriends a skinny, effete, little girl named Baryoncé.
LOL. She certainly is pear-shaped, or eggplant-shaped in purple, I guess.

A long time ago, when I was a young buck, we used to throw raging parties on the promontory that is on a ridge South-Southwest of Dallas, and South-Southeast of Grand Prairie, and between the Eastbound, and Westbound portions of Interstate 20. The land belonged to one of the Hunt brothers, rumor had it. Access from the Eastbound fast lane. No ramp. Dangerous turn off, actually...
West of there, where highway 360 intersects I-20, was our drag strip. 360 ended, just a little ways beyond where it passed under I-20, basically dead-ending there, with just and old country lane leading off from one side. That part of the road was all but deserted, 24/7. From the dead- end, back along the then brand spanking new (and DESERTED!) divided highway lanes, to the first 1-20 bridge overpass, was just almost exactly 1/5 of a mile. Perfect for street rods.
It's all different now, but it was noisy and fun then--- and the police basically left us alone, too.

My style is Fundamentalist Frump ;-). It’s very practical when one is always pregnant, nursing, or both.
Michelle Obama reminds me of what they say about sufferers with anorexia nervosa - they look in the mirror and see a fat person, even when they’re starving to death. Michelle obviously looks in the mirror and sees something very different from what the rest of us see in pictures.
She should find a good consultant who likes her (somebody must, right?) and follow the advice religiously. Someone made Hillary Clinton look pretty good when she was First Lady, so anything is possible.
