Using this WND article as a springboard, Michael Medved is condemning those who make conservatives look foolish. Not only those who pray for Obama's failure, but those who call him evil, or cling to the birth certificate issue.
Medved still hopes Obama will be a one term president.

We are starting a fund to support the hospital in Hawaii, or elsewhere, that was Zero’s birthplace. People will contribute to dedicate a plaque and fund in his name. Can you help us locate the hospital?
No one should pray for Obama to fail...they should pray that this great nation survives his presidency and until some sanity can be restored to government.
That’s right. We should all unite behind O exactly the way the dems did behind W — twice!

Well, Michael, if you hope he is a one-term president, he would probably need to FAIL for that to happen.
Or some incredible pub candidate will knock him out.
Y’know, if a politician is pushing policies that you are against, there is nothing wrong with hoping he fails. Heck, I was in the FRONT of the crowd in Seattle when Hillary came there with her health care gauntlet. We strongly hoped she failed.
She did, and it was strongly because we were there.
I hope Obama fails at many things he is suggesting he wants to do. I am hoping he succeeds at keeping this a free country, both economically and socially. Of course, if he does not attempt to fight for those things, well, it is hard to win a fight you don’t enter.

Yeah, he also was a strong McCain supporter also.
Either Obama fails or freedom fails. It’s that simple.
And that’s exactly why I will pray for President Elect Obama. I do not want to trash him as so many did with President Bush. Two wrongs surely don’t make a right and I hated it when it was done to President Bush and I hate it now.
I have tried to listen to him several times but just can’t.

Sorry to disagree, I hope he fails miserably at turning the USA into the USSA! (which is his and the dem's goal)
