Not to jump on the side of this little socialist snot, but how many pres-elects have ever attended the farewell speeches of out going presidents? I’m sure they are few and far between.

It wasn't about attending. It's rare for anyone to attend a President's farewell speeches (Clinton's and Reagan's speeches were delivered alone to the camera).

The classy thing would be for Obama to stay in Blair House--where he can have anything he wants delivered, for crying out loud--instead of causing a media circus right across the street from the White House just as the President is making his speech.

Watching GWB tonight, all I could think about is that it will be at least 4 years before the White House sees the kind of class act that GWB and Laura are. The 0bamas are bitter, arrogant and feel entitled to the office. I'm thinking it's unlikely that the GWB staffers will be snapping the O’s off all the keyboards.

The Bushes leaving the White House is the end of an era.....the end of American ingenuity with a can-do spirit. The masses want the nanny state that 0bama promised. Very sad for our country.
