WASHINGTON (Legal Newsline)-All of the nation's state attorneys general have signed onto a brief to include references to God in President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration this month.
Authored by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, the amicus brief was filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in the case of atheist Michael Newdow v. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.
Newdow, a Sacramento physician, seeks to eliminate prayer from the ceremony and prevent Obama from being able to say "so help me God" in the presidential oath of office.

Remember what happened to King Herrod when the people started referring to him as G-d. He didn't deny it and, poof, it ended poorly for Ol King Herrod. Obama should maintain the tradition since George Washington or he will demonstrate an arrogance that will surely divide America.

I’d like Hussein to start being Hussein. Let him be sworn in on the Koran, facing east and not even mention God. It is time the American people see who they have elected.

Newdow was on with Laura Ingraham last week. He’s an insfferable drama queen. She cut his nut off.

There are more of us then there are of them.
Go straight to h*** do not pass GO, Newdow.
Then again if º is a moose sympathizer it’s a way to get him off the hook.

Atheist Michael Newdow used his then 9-year-old daughter in his fight to get rid of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools. He is quoted as saying “you have to play games with the court” which is why he used her to get his own agenda accomplished. He is a pathetic man in need of repentance and salvation.
Atheism helps prove there is a God. If God truly doesn't exist they would put Him in the category of Mickey Mouse or Santa Claus and the Cross would simply be the letter t to them. Why fight if you really believe that? But He is real and bares witness to their guilty conscience so they feel they have to fight His existence to appease their conscience. At the judgment all will give an account to the Lord whether they believe it or not.

Once again I am summoned to fix something that that has a perpetually offended, whiney liberal’s panties in a wad. OK folks, prepare to witness my masterful problem fixin skillz:

I think the Godless should not use God as a front.
Any person that supports the murder of the unborn and those born from botched abortions has NO relationship with God.

Why even bother to respond in this case? The Supreme Court has absolutely zero jurisdiction in this matter. The 1st amendment says only that Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion. The president can do whatever the hell he wants, as can the States.

Have I been away and out of the country for the past eight years? I must have fallen into a deep sleep and wasn't aware of the deep divide.
