So this is the latest from the American Indian Movement, huh?

You said — “So this is the latest from the American Indian Movement, huh?”

Yeah, but they may have something there, especially with that particular Indian group...

No way! Tennessee will join Georgia and Alabama.

AIM has been around since at least the late 60's. They DO have a legitimate beef, though they've mixed their complaints with violent threats.

Reservations are notorious for the poverty the Native Americans endure. There are precious few jobs, most are on welfare of some sort, and alcoholism abounds. It's been that way for years, and many have absolutely no hope. It's a breeding ground for crime, unrest, and negativity, so it makes recruitment by AIM more easy.

on the contrary the US WILL expand to include Canada and Mexico and much of Central America -- it's inevitable, IMHO

Reasons: there's no real point in Canada remaining independent and they'll figure it out soon that they may as well give up their symbolic independence. Ditto for Mexico, with the troubles in the chiapas regions

To take some territory you must have a wish live there. This Panarin does not want to live in Chukotka, I doubt, if he will move to Alaska.
I think, incomes from natural Alaska’s recourses will be spent on resource extraction and delivery to customers. Nobody extracts anything in Antarctica, though there are plenty of valuable resources
US liberals sure will be unwelcome in Russia, because Russians are not politcorrect, and dislike homosexuals. Our own liberals are branded as liberasts. AFAIK, Igor Panarin is not diplomat, and his theory is practically unknown in Russia. Prediction about US dissolve and information about US secessionists I have seen on some US resource 3 years ago. I do not know, what chances are, but dwindling World’s natural resources can cause great changes, for US is biggest consumer.
