Republicans shouldn’t dare oppose Obama SCOTUS nominees ping to Today show list.

Goebbels and Orwell could do little better than the managing editors in the Mainstream media. Destroy conservatism by completely ignoring the idea and redefining the previous far left as the right, and the extreme left as the “normal” left.

alison Stewart was a news reader on MSNBC. Now she’s an erudite commentator on NPR. She still has that nervous tick in her left eye whenever she lies, which is every time she opens her mouth.

I was at the gym and I saw this on tv. Glad I didn’t have to listen to it. Sounds like it was a “fake” discussion.

It would be a fake fight because there aren't 10 GOP senators who oppose nominees like those Zero will send up.

When Clinton nominated Ginsburg, easily the most radical nominee of the 20th century, maybe ever, only 3 Republicans voted against her.

We can't fix the Republicans unless we recognize what they are.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer are "moderate" liberals.

Huh? Is this the same Ruth Buzzie Ginsburg that wants PROSTITUION to be legalized and is a staunch supporter of abortion on demand no exceptions - this is a moderate position? Boy I would hate to see what left ideology is all about.................

Republican opposition to Obama Supreme Court nominees would constitute a "fake fight" demonstrating that the GOP remains mired in the culture wars. Such was the collective wisdom of two of the roundtable members on ABC's "This Week" today.

yep.
Just like Israel remains mired in a fake war of survival against moderate muslims.

I am so tired of this "Alice in Wonderland" universe the self-styled moderate liberals inhabit.

Their black-is-white and up-is-down hissy fits are just plain humorous at this point.
The collective amnesia is truly spectacular.
The domestic socialists never opposed or blocked any of the Bush appointments.
Uh huh.

I am praying for some real heavy duty fake fights which will last for years... if the GOP grows some.

GOP Opposition To Obama Sup. Ct. Nominee Would Be 'Fake Fight',

The One is perfect. There can be no legitimate opposition to The One.

I am about sick and tired of the MSM touting the line that Conservatives are single handley fighting a “cutlure war”. A war takes two warring sides. How come it is not the liberals fighting a culture war. Of coars they are fighting one they just want the other side to give up the fight they act like they are not fighting. If they are tired of the cuture war then THEY can quit anytime they like. I HATE the BIAS. It is like Howared Dean screaming about Republicans and God, Guns and Gays. Hey Dean quit fighting YOUR cuture war. This thing is NOT one sided. I could say the same thing... I wish liberals and Democrats would quit taking about God, Guns and Gays all the time and stop their wedge issue game that divides the nation. See how that sounds back at ya.

Just about any time Rs in Congress decide to show some spine it is likely to be a “fake fight” — maybe they can get the “Gang of 14” to mediate in the Senate!!

Thanks for posting.

Are you staying optimistic? Are there enough balances left in our check and balance system?

Perhaps his pal from the hood Bill Ayers or his wife with the legal degree Bernadine Dohrn could be his pick?

I don’t see the Republicans standing up and fighting now, they have never bothered in the past.

Everything about Obama, from his campaign to his administration, will be about the pre-emptive argument.

During the campaign, it was all about the things that McCain couldn't say about Obama, and all the things that Obama said, pre-emptively, that McCain WOULD say about him. This resulted in neutering McCain, as he never used any of the pre-emptively off-limits topics against Obama.

Now they're saying, pre-emptively, that a nomination fight will be a "fake fight," so don't try it.
