My Grandmother had 17 but 2 sets of twins died at a very young age....less than a year old I am told. 13 raised during the depression with only 4 left living including my Mom.

Congrats to this family who loves children! I saw some specials on cable and they seem very down to earth normal kind of people.

I have seen this family on TV and it is parents like that should have a lot of kids.....they are good people that raise responsible wonderful kids in a very loving atmosphere.....you are right, God Bless Them

A bunch of my coworkers in Little Rock all dressed up as the Dugger family for Halloween, it was one of the funniest things I've seen. They even got the personalities down.

Not very often that I read about someone who has more kids than we do.
When I hear about a family like this, I think of St. Catherine of Siena, a great saint, who among other things persuaded the Pope to return from the Exile if Avignon to Rome.
St. Catherine was the 25th child of her parents.
