Not very often that I read about someone who has more kids than we do.

When I hear about a family like this, I think of St. Catherine of Siena, a great saint, who among other things persuaded the Pope to return from the Exile if Avignon to Rome.

St. Catherine was the 25th child of her parents.

Short bio here:

This begs the question...

How many kids do you have? :)

My wife and I don’t have the time, patience, or energy for one yet, how in the world do you and others do it? I always find it interesting how families with lots of kids like the Duggers also seem to be the most organized and ‘with it’. Their homes are perfect, the cloths are always ironed, and they have time to go to all the events like soccer games, softball, etc..

How????????

Thanks for reminding us of St. Catherine of Siena. Her parents obviously cherished the gift of life and were open to God's wonderful designs.

When my dad got a genealogy done of his mother's side of the family a few years ago, he found out that one of his direct ancestors from Germany, who lived in the 17th century, was the youngest of 16 children. If that man's parents had not been so open to life, I wouldn't be typing these words right now, since I never would have existed.
I was already pro-life, but that news really sealed the deal!
