since corruption is common place, apparently the gov didn’t play ball with either the italian or jewish mafia and got hung by one of them.

Presidents have been brought down before.

Nixon's fall was the result of intense journalistic digging and investigation. Pressure was applied from outide. Nothing like that will be coming Obama's way from the MSM. The media has abdicated it's charter. Any non MSM journalist who raises questions is quickly branded a kook. Even by Republicans. Any of a number of Federal judges could have ordered his BC unsealed to satisfy a valid question as to his eligibility for office. It never happened. And it won't happen 4 years from now.

In the case of Clinton, it was Republicans in the Senate who stopped conviction. The system insulated and protected him.

Obama has reached home base. He's politically too big to fail.

WLS has the lt. governor on the air, playing dumb. He won’t confirm arrest, playing word games...

That was from an earlier call to the Don & Roma show, when this first hit the wires. He was as unaware at the time as Don was. He seemed a little shell shocked and was rambling. I thought it pretty funny in a way. Here's the lt. governor learning he just may get promoted soon, and he's coming across as unworthy...

SInce JJJ is a shakedown artist, I’d rule him out as getting shaken down by some snot-nosed Northside white boy. I’d say JJJ is Candidate #1.

I’m guessing #5 is Emil Jones.

Blagojevich said he knew that the President-elect wanted Senate Candidate 1 for the open seat but “they’re not willing to give me anything except appreciation. [Expletive] them.”

My hopes are dashed! Oh well, it's not the first time, nor probably the last.

WLS has the lt. governor on the air, playing dumb. He won’t confirm arrest, playing word games, “if there are some sort of charges....”

That was a tape from yesterday.

Well, I’d say the Auchi connection drags both the President-elect and the Secretary of State designee into this....
