I keep hearing a lot of prognostication by the Press that that keeps trying not to report the current results of the recount. I thought the Secretary of state numbers were the numbers that mattered. Not the AP, not CNN. The numbers are what they are.

b..bbb...but, I’d heard Al Franken was leading by twelve votes? That’s what I keep hearing from the press and er.. Al Franken.

That 0.07% will get you every time, especially when the Dems are counting the votes.

That’s about 2000 votes no yet recounted.

I predict the SoS will call for another recount because it is so close, and that game will continue until Frankin is able to ‘create’ enough votes, then suddenly, the counting will decided.

Ok, Franken didn’t want to play hardball with you guys but . . . . here goes!!

He is now going to have to get the Senate involved in deciding the winner of this contest. And, if THAT doesn’t work, he’ll have to return to stand up “comedy” (from him!) and occasionally “guest hosting” on SNL.

It seems that even if he ends up being declared the loser in MN, the rest of us lose right along with him!!!

I’m curious — the search for those mystery votes has stopped, so the final tally prior to the challenge adjudication is Coleman +192, right???

We still have the matter of the 4000 or so “disputed” ballots, where a board will look at each and try to determine the “intent” of the voter. Franken and Coleman have each identified about 2000 of these disputed votes. So we’re looking at December 16-18 or so for a final decision.

Thanks. So.. the “intent” of the voter. Therein lies the rub.

But the numbers in the posted article and on the MN SOS elections website, shows Coleman with a 687 vote lead over Franken. Where is the difference of 192 votes coming from? Why isn’t it 687? Just curious!!!

The SOS site includes NO RESULTS from the disputed precinct with the 133 “mystery missing” ballots. There is no question that the ballots that are there and for which there is no question, heavily favor Franken, which brings the Coleman lead down into the range of 192, if you use the old election night count. If you don’t count the missing ballots, that would up coleman’s lead to about 238, pending looking at the challendged ballots. And remember, every challenged ballot is NOT included in the SOS count. So a franken challenge to a valid Coleman ballot will ultimately result in a gain of 1 for Coleman — and vice-versa. It really comes down to the quality of the challenges. If they are all phony, Coleman wins — if more of Franken’s are good challenges, he could win.

That’s the way “recounts” work. You keep “recounting” until the Commie ‘RAT wins and then you stop.

That was the funniest thing Franken has said in his entire so-called comedy career.

Only the most tortured logic and bizarre counting method could produce a Franken lead.

Coleman was the winner on election day, and will be the winner after the recount. End of story. The only way Franken wins this is if he gets the courts to usurp the process and overturn the election.

Don’t get your hopes up.

The election is not over until 105 percent of the ballots are counted.

That’s what I just saw on the Red Star Tribune website.

Coleman up 192 with 100% votes recounted.

Sounds like he won to me!...twice!

It seems like quite a difference, from 687 to 192. Even if the 133 "missing mystery" ballots are determined to be unlocated, which would bring the 192 up to 238, that is still a difference of 449 to the MN SOS website of 687. If I correctly understand your reply to me, the 192 margin already includes the tallys from the pre-recount challenged ballots. So at this point if all the challenged ballots were rejected (from both Coleman & Franken) then I assume that the 687 difference would be the final tally, not including any of the impact from the 133 "missing mystery" ballots???

By the way, I know many others have made this same observation, but how are the dimwits so certain of the "missing mystery" ballots being 133 precisely. Do we know if this missing mystery envelope ever in fact actually existed? I personally think the dimwits ran this group of ballots twice through optical machine scanner, and now they are off by this double count. This sounds like a favorite tactic & ploy of the corrupt dimwits. Does the recount total for this precinct match the signed in registered voters or do total registered voters show 133 more than the recount totals? Again, I would not trust the dimwits one smidgeon to have altered & changed the number of registered voters in order to create this controversy over 133 "missing mystery" ballots.

Don't worry, if Franken loses the election his old video sex mistress Arianna Huffington will give him "a job".
