No matter what the Justices at the SCOTUS decide today about the many law suites over if Obama’s is a natural born citizen there is something we can do to make sure he doesn’t run again and that this never happens again, let’s work to get election laws passed in our states which require proof of legal citizenship for anyone who’s is submitted for inclusion on an ballot and then add a stipulation that candidates submitted for the offices of President and Vice-President be required to submit a vaulted certified birth certificate to establish that they meet the age and native birth requirements as stated in the Constitution of the United States. Lastly there must be a stringent penalty established for failure of Election Officials who fail to follow the law (May I suggest ten (10) years in prison and a $10,000.00 fine), that should keep some state’s Secretary of State from just ignoring the law. There are any number of states with Republican controlled legislatures where such a law could easily get pass, besides what is the opposition going to say to such a law? Anything they would say in opposition of it would make them look foolish and could be used against them when they run for re-election. If we could get this passed in just one state it would force Obama’s hand come 2012, he would have to put up or back out, else how would he explain his failure to be on that state’s ballot? Of course the more states passing such a law the better, but I think even one state would be too much of an embarrassment for him to over come. And getting such a law passed by a state legislature is 100 times easier than getting a court solution or anything on the Federal level done. Just think of it he could end up being a lame duck president fairly quickly no chance to run again, add a good beating in the mid-terms and Obama quickly becomes a ‘speed bump’ in the history books!
This is a great suggestion. I think this is a reasonable solution to the problem at hand.
It comes down to our elected officials. The Dems fought Bush tooth and nail, and now are in total power. Ours are limp wristed, interested in getting along or simply drawing a paycheck with great perks. Sad it is.
The main thing about information concerning Obama is to make sure it is factual. Proof and honesty is king. False statements will take away the sting of the truth. So please, make sure you do the research. Questioning him is fine but make sure everything mentioned as fact.....is true.
Well we have to ban those pre paid credit cards first
then stop giving money to ACORN
then find out how much in the millions was illegal donation money, how much came from abroad and from George Soros .
Then we have to name names of the media who are just so far left it is pathetic like Matthews and Olbermannn.
so say a republican gets asked about a story in the NY times the republican should just turn around and say “ well it’s the NY times I hardly expect them to give actual facts and be fair in their reporting to republicans.”
or “ What’s that Chris Matthews said that, sorry I never bother to listen to watching Matthews anti right far left views, next question”
If he becomes a dictator, we won’t be able to influence ANY legislation.
Voter ID for federal elections would do it.

Ah, but then in those red states that did pass such legislation, BHO could end up knocked as he couldn't be placed on a primary ballot. He would end up losing at the Dem convention.

Since I am against *fixing now* in order to meet qualifications set at a prior date, you make a great point, insisting that any candidate for pres or vp MUST provide a vault copy, regardless he has already run, won election to the office. As you say, no matter how it falls out today, 0bama will either put up now, or put up later.

That sounds like an excellent plan.
Meanwhile, if the courts take no action prior to January 8 and our nation veers to the left (particularly with Executive Orders, etc.), it is impossible to predict how the political landscape will appear in 2012.
Especially since it appears we may be out-numbererd at the ballot box.

Great suggestion. I hope some group organizes to back it. Even if one state passes such a law, that should smoke him out.
