With the libs’ worldview, and definition of knowledge, this is a SEVERE BLOW to their entire fantasy world.
They consider knowledge to ONLY include what each individual can articulate, and discount any “wisdom of the ages” (common sense?) as worthless.
They consider themselves as worthy of making decisions for others due to their superior ability to articulate knowledge.
So, when a study shows them to be uninformed and unable to articulate knowledge about a general topic (the election) which they consider themselves to be superior,
it is a severe blow.

Women under 55 . . . 95% of them knew that Palin was the candidate with a pregnant teenage daughter.Yes, these were the ones "exposed" to Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood.

That would be a funny thread to read on DU. I got 32/33 on that quiz. The last question was quite arguable, as the answer they wanted would have been correct had they mentioned a "per capita" tax in the question. Alas, they did not.

The pollster can’t possibly be serious about his question.
Hasn’t he been aware of the blind allegiance to O and the absolute hatred to anyone who doesn’t get that tingle down their leg.
It’s disingenuous to ask the question.

Same here, I got all the questions right but the last one. Even after I read the answer, I felt that my answer was better than the other.

Archaic use, but still a word. "threat (thrět) Pronunciation Key n. An expression of an intention to inflict pain, injury, evil, or punishment. An indication of impending danger or harm. One that is regarded as a possible danger; a menace. tr.v. threat·ed, threat·ing, threats Archaic To threaten. Also, because it exposes the extent of media complicity in Obama’s election. The MSM gave Obama literally billions of BILLIONS in “in kind” contributions.

Wait until the electorate discover the MSM lied on cogent facts about Obama.
Americans do not like to be called "Dumb and Dumber"
Never again will the MSM be trusted.
Printed News has tanked already. Soon TV news and associated programs will tank as well.
TV programming will become a relic handed over to the sports channels.
About time, too!

This shows that Republicans need to spend a little time educating fellow Republicans, and it shows that leftnuts can’t be educated, but the right slogans might work on them. Keep it simple.

I don’t think a poll has to be before an election (or anything else) in order to be a poll.
It’s just a count, usual in percentage of people’s opinions, preferences, activities, knowledge, etc.
Ziegler goes on to analyze the results of the poll, but it’s still a poll.

Women under 55 did worse than they might have by guessing on four of the thirteen questions yet 95% of them knew that Palin was the candidate with a pregnant teenage daughter. Even 95% of those in this demographic group who didnt know Congressional control got this question correct. Friend of mine before the election: "What did you think of Cindy's $300,000 outfit?" [of course it wasn't, but that came later]
Me: "I don't like to discuss the clothes the candidates' wives are wearing." [snooty, but correct]
Friend: "But didn't you think it should have looked like something, for that much money?" [actually I thought it was gorgeous but refused to participate]
Women have such a long way to go. And most of them don't even know it.
To: zeugma
Exactly.
That’s why I “missed” that one too.
