The U.S. Supreme Court will consider Friday whether to take up a lawsuit challenging President-elect Barack Obama's U.S. citizenship, a continuation of a New Jersey case embraced by some opponents of Obama's election. The meeting of justices will coincide with a vigil by the filer's supporters in Washington on the steps of the nation's highest court.

Yes, I know its not a criminal case, but it still seems the accusor must be able to provide some sort of evidence that the president elect is not a citizen. Yes, it is suspect that Fauxbama could make this all go away by simply producing a birth certificate, or telling Hawaii to release his to whever wants it.. however I would think that legally speaking however the allegation being made by the plaintiff must have some evidence for his allegation to force the court to force the defendant to prove otherwise.
The name of the hospital isn’t listed for any of the births; were all of the other parents in on the conspiracy too?

The way I see this thing is the Supreme Court has exactly two options. Take the case and risk having the “minority population” burn down the neighborhoods they live in
not take the case and incur a total constitutional meltdown and possible nationwide internal war.
I’m thinking the Supremes had DAMN well better take the case and conduct a full investigation.

People keep saying this....and then simultaneously saying the media did this or caused that. They can't be the "dinosaur media whom no one believes at all" and, at the same instant, have all the power to cost McCain the election and "make" Obama.

Let's be honest. No piece of paper will prove BHO was born in the United States. Even with technically perfect paperwork, there will be thousands if not millions of skeptical folks. I'm sure there are a lot of Free Republic readers who were born in the US who don't have original copies of their birth certificates or other necessary paperwork. And I'm also sure there are people who have the most authentic appearing birth certificates you can imagine who weren't born here. I suppose I have no other point to make beyond that.
