My fear.
The Supremes are going into closed conference this Friday to vote on whether or not to schedule oral presentation of the Obama eligibility suit.
At least 4 of the 9 justices have to vote yes for it to be scheduled. This is the protocol for all cases….very few ( far less than 10% from what I understand) ever get scheduled for oral hearings.
In this case, it seems there is always a technicality that shuts down the process.
And I have to wonder about the dilemma the justices must feel…if they were to vote to schedule hearings–it will be explosive.
And they know this.
On the other hand how does Chief Justice Roberts with his pledge to uphold the Constitution swear in a man as US President if he has doubts as to whether the man lied to the American people and is not a citizen?
Answer: He keeps himself remote from the most incriminating information so that he is not faced with this moral dilemma. He stays on the surface, drawing no conclusions, deductions, giving benefit of the doubt to Obama--as President Elect. He and all the justices go into hyper-automoton mode.
So I tend to think–unfortunately–that the justices DO NOT WANT TO KNOW because in "knowing" they will inevitably be forced to have doubts--–which will unequivocably force a hearing.
I think they will likely vote to keep the Pandora’s box closed on some “technicality”. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.

The essence of all conspiracy theories is they try to use a negative or lack of something) to prove something else. They all fall for the same reason.
I just realized and told my oldest boy last night that he isn’t natural born enough to be president.
Well, his Democratic opponent in the Primaries did not bring it up as an issue.
John McCain and Sarah Palin did not bring it up as an issue during the General Election.
Conservatives in the House and Senate have not brought up this issue.
Conservatives in Talk Radio have not brought up this issue.

You just made the case for why this issue is non-radioactive for high profile Repubs and conservatives, and for why they should now feel safe to go after Obama with no reservations.
Obama has now stonewalled on this thing for so long, that the aura of suspicion is beyond dispute, and is perfect air cover for anyone seeking to compel him to come forth with proof of his constitutional qualifications.

The American people wouldn’t expect a justice of Supreme Court stature to follow such low standards for fact-finding.
The Justices can attain no higher professional or moral standard, over the rest of their careers, than that which they set for themselves with any given ruling.
At this point there is no reason to doubt the honor or the integrity of the individuals sitting on the Supreme Court.

Then, that begs for some hope that this question will get the attention it deserves from the SC, does it not?
I think it does.
I would think the lowly little citizen, us, would have more standing than anyone in America.
Look for a rash of dead pets, severed brake lines, and self-inflicted injuries.

If it were shown that Obama, though ineligible, legitimately believed himself to be eligible, and could not reasonably have known of his ineligibility, that would be the only scenario where Obama could be regarded as honorable.
***Remember, Obama is a constitutional Scholar from Harvard. That’s not really an option.

I got one, too. I can relate.
Neither is Arnold Schwarzenegger nor Henry Kissinger. I don't think Albert Einstein was, either. So, he's in good company. There's no shame in that. It's turned into something of a moonshot anyway, for "normal" people, who aren't born into a dynastic political family. That needs to change, but it's a fact at present.
One way is to decide that the Secretary of States didn’t do their job and that was the time for the lawsuit to have been brought forth, so it’s too late.
I hope someone points out that to give Obama an office to which he is not entitled for the purpose of avoiding riots would be, quite literally, to surrender the Constitution to mob rule.

Truman, it's fairly obvious that you are taking the word of Obama, his compatriots on the web, and in the MSM, that there is nothing to this. Why?
He has never proven that he was born in the US, and neither has anyone else. It's all been asserted - never documented.
Obama is the first presidential candidate in our history to ever have such a clearly un-American provenance, so the people have every right to ask him for the simple proof that he is, in fact, a Natural Born Citizen of the US.
Nothing, except his original long form birth certificate will prove this, and he is resisting all efforts to reveal it.
Doesn't that make you even the slightest bit suspicious, given that this lingering doubt, and Obama's intransigence is causing so much controversy and damage to him?

Certificate of Live Birth in Hawai’i merely means the parents called Hawai’i their home prior to the child’s out of State (or Nation) birth. It is just a formal registration that the child was born to parents who had lived in Hawai’i prior to the birth. It does not verify the child’s place or date of birth other than what was reported (which could be incorrect, so the actual birth certificate would have to be seen to verify the information).
A Birth Certificate is the formal proof that a child was actually born in a certain place at a certain time and witnessed by a certain doctor. It includes the child’s parents’ names, where they resided at the time of the birth, and their “race” and Nationality. It also includes the hospital or clinic where the child was born. In most States the State Medical Director’s stamped name and an Embossing of the State Seal is also on the Birth Certificate. It is proof positive for the date, time, gender and place of a birth and the given name of the child.
