Obama: 'Change comes . . . from me'
By NIA-MALIKA HENDERSON
Obama referred to his team of advisers as "fresh thinking," adding that the vision for change comes first and foremost from me.
President-elect Barack Obama pushed back at a press conference in Chicago today when asked how he would respond to supporters "who were looking for change," given how many of his announced and rumored appointments thus far are Clinton administration veterans.
When it comes to the people that we've pulled together -- because I know this has been sort of conventional wisdom floating around Washington -- that, well, you know, there's a recycling of people who were in the Clinton administration, Obama replied, referring specifically to the economic team he introduced on Monday. And so it would be surprising if I selected a Treasury secretary who had had no connection with the last Democratic administration because that would mean that the person had no experience in Washington whatsoever.

He needs to do a lot more of it. I, for the most part, change stations when he takes calls now days. He used to have no patience for sycophantic callers. Now he lets them drone on forever about how much they love him.
He used to tightly manage that aspect of the show with seminars for callers and the shtick about the purpose of the caller being to make the host look good. He seems to have forgotten all of that, and will let any idiot or conspiracy theorist babble on and on for whole segments.
I’ve noticed the same response by Hannity, and Levin to some extent, recently. The caller will start off sweetly sucking up to the host, then start with a sing-song whine about “give Obama a chance”, blah blah blah. The host just listens and is overly polite. I, too, cannot stand it and turn the stations more than I used to.
Keep your change
I ain't buying it
pomposity: The quality of being pompous; self-importance.
But I will say I have known people that seemed overly self-confident, however, in actuality they were insecure in their own abilities so they put on the “front” of self-confidence.
--Proverbs 16:18
Rush.....only recently have I realized how brilliant their lyrics are.
So far advisers have created an Office of the President-elect thus proving that they can modify the Constitution at will. (So much for that "defective" section that speaks of that natural born thingy.)
After a months-long, Hollywood-created aura of "the President" it continues -- and IMO makes a big joke out of Obama.
Is this going to be some kind of reality show? A reality version of West Wing?
Hannity is the one who drives me batsh*t with seminar callers. He had one yesterday who lied about being a conservative and came off as a complete moonbat, and the Leprechaun just sat there and took it. Levin would have had this posers’ nuts on a platter. I’m just glad I’ve got Dennis Miller and Steve Malzberg instead of Hannity.
That's what so scary. The so-called 3rd-way centrist guys from the Clinton Era are much more dangerous than the leftist moonbats.
Proverbs 24:21
My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise.
The blind leading the blind.
Anyone notcie this “professing Christian” (Obama), has not been to church since being elected. He’s been “working out” on Sunday.
“Change comes ... from me”
(Obama said that)
“I am the state”
(Didn’t some king say that?)
Not too far apart, eh?
(I said that)

I am the light. I am the way.
Oooooh! Don’t get me started on Hugo! Talk about Malignant Narcissism! He has single-handedly turned that country into a stinkhole and his “followers” have gotten so used to the stink they can’t even smell it. The stinking tenements that are STILL there after years of HIM remind me of the MILLIONS State Senator Obama got diverted to Rezko to build all the boarded-up tenements in Chicago. I think one of those is still open and maybe they’re trying to keep it as an example of all they’ve accomplished.
How many people saw the PBS Frontline story about Venezuela and Chavez? The particularly interesting part is the way Chavez plays his ministers as the bad guys all the time, in public ... It’s never his fault.

Obamunism is warmed over communism, following the Chavez model. Aha, you say, now you know why the liberals were all fawning over the thug Chavez for the last few years. Watch the video, and get back to me.
Just another episode of PIMP MY PRESIDENCY.
