Look at these phrases:
"trampled on the Bill of Rights"
"eavesdrop on Americans"
"undermined the powers of Congress"
"unnecessary invasions of privacy"
"straight out of J. Edgar Hoovers playbook"
"drowning economy"
"regulatory sanity to the financial markets"
"unnecessary war in Iraq"
"outlaw prison at Guantánamo Bay"
-- and this is only part! These guys don't live on my planet!

Good bye slimes writers—have a nice trip down the toilet with the other turds who belong in the sewer after lying to the American public for so long.

Timothy McVeigh was an idiot. He could have been a national hero and done the country some good bombing the NYT building...with no one there of course. According to Ayers, it’s not terrorism if you target a building and not people.

The Price of Our Good Name? I'm going to say $45 per share since the NYT is down that much since its 2002 high. LOLOLOL.
News Corp, btw, is up a buck and a half since 2002.

This article, better than any I have ever read in the NYT, states the deep philosophical differences between myself and the NYT. The headline itself is very telling. NYT states that we need to do these things to clear the good name of the US. BS!!!! We need to do whatever it takes to make our citizens safe.

Looks like a temper tantrum in the AIDS-ridden bath-house commonly known as the Slimes editorial room. Maybe the anti-viral cocktail quit working and the bugs have reached their brains.
To: publius1
This editorial could use a good fisking, but the NYT is such a joke these days that it doesn’t seem worth the effort.

It shouldn't take more than a few days to begin to undo all these supposed wrongs. Why does the Left believe Sadaam should have been left in Power and Mullah Ohmar deposed? Is it just the fact that the Baath party was socialist and the Taliban was not??
Once all these "reforms" are completed, will we be safer? Is there a tooth fairy??

Good News: Stock price down 95%, locked out of commercial paper market, bonds rated junk, dividends slashed 75%, employees laid off, trying to sell assets at a "fair price" -- all within the past few months.
Bad News: It takes time for the corpse to finish rotting.

Sorry. I couldn't stomach the whole thing. We knew weeks ago that no matter what "The One" does we will hear either A) it's STILL Bush's fault or B) that his naysayers are all racists.
For the sake of history, Obama will be painted a perfect president. Anything less will be considered bigoted and narrow minded.

They've caught up to DemocraticUnderground in content quality, and remain barely ahead of the website in readership.
Surely Obama will wave his hand and banish these evils into the no-longer rising sea.
