Operation: Destroy Sarah Palin

Posted on 11/22/2008 7:16:14 AM PST by Lloyd Marcus

Her VP nomination acceptance speech was amazing, energizing and excited millions. She was sharp, wholesome, down to earth, boldly conservative and beautiful. Then, the liberal media, blatantly committed to getting Obama elected, set out to destroy her. “Sarah Palin is stupid” was their mantra. Every late night talk show host, biased liberal TV interviewer, biased liberal newspaper reporter and democrat talking head united to create the paradigm, “Palin is an idiot”.

Suddenly, every word out of Sarah's mouth was under severe scrutiny. Who could survive such a tsunami of attacks on their intellect? Meanwhile, Obama saying the US has 57 states barely drew a mention.

Even the National Organization for Women did not defend Palin. Her Conservative traditional values do not fit their liberal agenda. Palin chose to have her Down Syndrome baby rather than abort it. Sarah proved that a woman can have a thriving family and successful career. She loves and respects her husband without feeling subservient to him. All this rubs the NOW gang the wrong way. But what REALLY ticks them off, Sarah Palin is pretty.

What liberals did to this great woman was vicious and mean. And yet, liberals are perceived as the advocates of women and minorities. Here is the reality. If you're black and become a U.S. Supreme Court Justice via education and hard work rather than Affirmative Action, liberals try to destroy you. If you're a strong woman running for Vice President of the United States, they seek to destroy you for not subscribing to their left ideology.

When will folks “GET IT!” Liberals don't give a hoot about women or minorities. They only worship at the feet of their gods which are Power and Control.

Lloyd Marcus, President NAACPC (National Asso.for the Advancement of Conservative People of Color)

I also have friends and family members who spout the PDS line. What I find interesting is that they have never seen an objective interview nor a speech and essentially it seems the only knowledge they have is what they have read in the NY Times or from CNN. The sad thing is that I told my sister that I expected more from her - that she would source her own information on Palin and not just spout the media line. Isn’t it funny that the only thing they can say is the Africa is a country comment - that speaks volumes of fairness, objectivity and knowledge. So, in my mind....I figure they just are spouting the democratic party line.

Guaranteed the Ivy League Doctor has more experience with learning more and having the state of the art new medical techniques and up to date information.

Top-of-the-line medical university physicians, with all their modern technology, up to date info, have destroyed my spinal cord -- my G.P. with his degree from a college in the midwest is one of the very few doctors who did me no harm in the last twenty years. Sorry, you've fallen for the big lie.

I am supporting Romney and would feel a heck of a lot more comfortable with our economy with Romney at the helm than Obama. Now my support for Romney in 2012 is realistic...it probably won’t happen. The country is not ready for an inelligent economic President for some reason. They like the shiny fun candidates like Obama and Palin...that is fine but I don’t know why we have to suffer with the results.

This video explains that and the documentary maker also backed up this short video with a Zogby poll he commissioned that supports what you just said.

I can post the Zogby support if you want to share it with your sister.

Romney will never be president. Palin has a shot at it. While you may not think she's intelligent, her record speaks otherwise.

You know I am stunned by people around here. Would you want a doctor from a small university or would you want the best educated doctor??? What is so wrong about have a superior education.

For me, I will take the small university doctor who values life over some Ivy league pos with an over-inflated ego any day. I trust the small college doctor to bust a gut to save my life.

Mitt Romney's experience would be greatly needed in the present economy. Republicans nominated a loony Democrat, J.S. McCain, who admitted he knew nothing about economy and whose actions re the bailout revealed just how out of touch he is. imho, too many are too jealous of Romney.

Don’t feel bad! I have two college educated sisters (ages 63 and 70)and a brother in law with a phd... not that that means anything. The only thing they could tell me about Obama was that he was inspiring and NOT a Socialist! They know NOTHING ABOUT HIM! They only watch PBS, CNN,and maybe MSNBC. And read only read Newsweek! Figures!:(

I have a son who graduated from Yale and a daughter who attends Stanford. My other son is attending a small state school. For my money, he is getting a much better education.

Elite institutions offer undergraduate classes taught essentially by grad students—no individual attention. While I’m proud of my Ivy/Stanford kids, such an education is not the be-all, end-all.

Sports reporter for Anchorage is not exactly big media. She didn’t realize that they would edit their reports to make her look as bad as possible. She should have ignored the press like Oblack did.

Pray for W, Palin and Our Troops

As a Romney pusher, you pretty much make sure that you get in your digs at Palin. Part of the Romney anti-Palin underground.

Agreed. Nothing like stabbing a good conservative woman in the back to further the cause of a lying liberal. We have a bunch of those back-stabbers here on FR.

Romney had a much more populated state to contend with and much more diverse. There is no way you and I are going to settle anything right now. My prediction is that neither one of them will be the nominee. We have never predicted a party candidate this early. Everyone here was sure that Fred Thompson who is very similiar to Sarah was 100 percent positive that he was our 2008 nominee...where did that go??? No where.

Blah, Blah , Blah...

Put yourself in the Governors Office of the Alaska State Government. There is a foreign relations and extensive military componenet. There is a a huge commercial component. Meanwhile we forget what frontoer government means? Sarah is one of the most "educated" women in America, and one of the most politically saavy.

Lets see how you and your educated approach fair in that office. You might last a few weeks.

Buahahahahahahah!

I do not buy the liberal education schmaltz.

It just means brainwashing unless you have achieved an education prior to 1973.

What a laugh.

The Wellesley weenies on patrol.

Eastern elitist prejudice is so bankrupt.

Yes, let me think..what state was that? I remember, it was Massachusetts, which happens to be where I live.

Palin is no Thompson, and thank goodness, she's no Romney.

We shall see what happens in 2012.
