Exclusive: TVNewser has learned veteran Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill will not be renewed when her current contract expires. Hill, who has been with Fox News for more than 10 years, will continue with the network for the next few months until her current deal expires.
SVP of Programming Bill Shine tells TVNewser that he "chose not to renew E.D.'s latest contract" but noted that "Hill has been a valued contributor to the success of FNC over the years, and we wish her all the best."
Hill has been without a regular Fox News program since June 16, when America's Pulse was replaced by two hours of Live Desk. Ten days earlier Hill used the term terrorist fist jab when promoting an upcoming body language segment that was going to look into the primary night fist bump shared by Barack and Michelle Obama.
For most of her nearly 11 years at FNC Hill anchored Fox & Friends. In 2006 she moved to a late morning program then to the afternoons where, in the months leading up to the election, she'd been filling in on America's Election HQ.
This reminds me of Michael Graham being fired from WMAL a few years back. What was absolutely galling back then is not one of the local talk people stood up for him. And you will see the same thing at FNC. No one - from Brit Hume through BOR through Hannity - will take a public stand for her. It really sucks when it comes time to learn who your friends are.
I really like E.D. She was with that leftist lawyer covering for Bill O on his radio show recently. I couldn’t take the lawyer saying there is a problem with Sarah Palin because Sarah couldn’t answer what she reads and Sarah too much like a regular person. I was furious at the suggestion. How way off base. Sarah has natural leadership skills you can’t read in a book. BO can gather all his advisers but he’s no leader.
E.D. really stuck up for Sarah. And she made any further listening worth while. E.D. is really missed on Fox&Friends as well.

Fox is not going to have to worry about any of that if they continue offending and alienating their conservative viewers; they'll just fade away on their own. I've only occasionally been tuning into Hannity and Greta.
Fox is going young blond empty headed T & A, so this is not a surprise.

Yep, something like that, different last name, different hubby, but she was an anchor here in da burgh back in the 80s sometime.
We don’t see old juicy lips around much any more either.
That, plus she was placing becoming more strigent with her schedule due to her large family. I'm not sure that this 'fist-bump incident' is the overriding reason for her being let go.
Personally, I enjoyed her on Fox News.

My favorite cartoon was the old original Jonny Quest back in the 60’s. Late 60’s, they came out with the Shazzam/Isis Hour which was okay. Lot of weird cartoons in the 60’s like Fearless Flea, The Impossibles, Samson and Goliath, Mighty Mightor, etc. We got off the thread somehow, eh.

If you’re referring to Laurie Dhue, FOX refused to renew her contract also. She’s been gone for months and so far hasn’t popped up anywhere else.
