That's how many Republicans are likely to react after the retiring Nebraska senator blasted Republicans in general and Rush Limbaugh in particular, claiming Rush and fellow conservative talkers "don't have any answers."
David Shuster, subbing for Olbermann on tonight's Countdown, highlighted Hagel's remarks of today.

It just shows what being in Washington for a while will do to a politician. Hagel was a conservative when he first got elected and devolved into a gasbag RINO after he got elected to his second term.

Why should he, (Rush Limbaugh) lower himself to the Sen(ile) "Jeffords" Hagel "level of Incompetent".
Rush, Is helping to rebuild the Conservative (not Bowel :) Movement in the Republic...while he earns his living (and educating the public/citizens/voters on conservatism) while entertaining his listeners....While you (Hagel), lived on the public's dime. 
Rush doesn’t need to have answers, that’s the job of the elected. The trouble with those dolts is that they think every issue is the business of the federal government. And the hagels of the government get especially angry that somebody is telling them to butt out and mind the business of the people, and leave the people alone.

I never respected Hagel. This confirms I was right to do so.
Ah, don’t worry bob. McCain will probably be defeated in 2010. The Messiah, BHO, will go to Arizona and campaign for WHOEVER is running against McCain. The very presence of BHO in Arizona will create a tidal wave of support for Candidate X (D).
Of course, McCain will be able to say “I worked with my President, Barack Obama, in many useful ways during my last two years in office. I was bipartisan and listened and supported a Democrat president, something I was very reticent to do while a Republican was in the White House.”
McCain will then spend the rest of his career as a guest on MSNBC, hailed as the “kind of Republican we all like” by Keith Douchermann.
