If you want on/off my prayer ping list, please let me know. All requests happily honored.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for Your love.
Thank You for Jan in Colorado’s daughter.
Please watch over Jan’s daughter as she is ill.
Your peace and comfort to Jan and her family
as we lift Jan’s daughter up in prayer.
Your will be done.
In Jesus’ Holy Name.
Amen.
Every parent can imagine themselves in your place, Jan. Even though your aren’t with your daughter, we know that God is with her. May He surround her in His loving, merciful, providence and bless her with exactly the care she needs to overcome this illness and return to good health.
God bless you all.
Prayers lifted.
Words cannot express how blessed I feel by your outpouring of love and support.
I have been involved with prayer threads, but never on the receiving end.
God Bless each and every one of you for your prayers and thoughts.
I am truly humbled
I asked fanfan to take over a ping list for me, and requested prayers for me and my daughter and here we are.
I have few details which is what makes it so difficult, but I want to share some of my dear sweet daughter with you.
Natalie is a sophomore at a private Christian college in Arkansas, majoring in early childhood education and missions. She is a very strong Christian and conservative and since the age of 15 she has spent her summers in Ukraine doing mission work with orphans.
Unexpectedly, God opened a door for her, and three months ago she went to Zambia with a group of medical students and they have been working in an orphanage, an AIDS clinic, and doing mission work in the villages.
I have had very limited contact with her, but the few messages I have received have been heartwarming and heart breaking all at the same time! She has seen more than most 19 year olds can even imagine, yet she knows God is using her to further His Kingdom!
What more can a mother ask for?
Her team left Zambia Nov 4th and traveled to Uganda and Rwanda. There was to be no more contact until they returned to the States.
Last night I received a very short e-mail stating that Natalie was very ill and has a staph infection, and Natalie wrote that the infection was very deep and they had to drain it and that it was very painful. She asked for prayers from our church,...wait until she finds out she is getting prayers from all over the Country! ;o) ,
Thats all the info I received and there is no way for me to get a hold of any one.
I am leaving here in the morning and driving to Searcy, Arkansas and will see her Thursday.
She teases me about how engrossed I get with FR and she will be very touched to read this prayer thread (maybe a little embarrassed, but, hey, moms are good for that too).
I have been shaking ever since I saw this thread, I feel the love and support... God knows our every need, and through all of you, He has provided once again! God Bless you all.
Thank you fanfan for everything!
.
I will be sharing this thread with her when we return home...maybe I can convince her to be a FReeper! ;o)
Saying Prayers.
Continued prayers for the healing power of God Almighty through the hands of our Lord.
Prayer ping.
Thank you Jan for the update.
I’ll remember to continue praying for your daughter.
Thank you fanfan for starting this thread.
((((((((Jan)))))))))
A Freeper hug for you!
I was lifted in prayer recently for a cancer scare that I was facing.
All turned out okay, so I know prayers work!
I hope Natalie will read this thread and her spirit will be lifted!
Prayers continue for her health and healing.
God Bless!
Ms.B
We are with you.
*HUGS*
It’s good when we come together.
:-)
Prayers offered for Jan’s daughter and for all the family.
Oh Jan! What a lovely daughter Natalie is...you have every reason to be proud. I join in here for prayers that the infection Natalie has in her body is swiftly healed and she live a long and fullfilled life.
Hugs and prayers for you and her friends and family as well.
She’s beautiful!
