It's a good thing Trey Parker and Matt Stone like controversy because it sounds like they're in for quite a lot of it with their newest project - a Broadway musical based on the lives and loves of Mormons!

What I like about South Park is they are happy to skewer anyone, no topic is off limits, no side is safe.

They did an equally funny episode on Scientology which ended up peaving off the hollywierd crowd.

Yes, it was hillarious,

but it also showed Mormons as having very strong family values, good hearts, and good lives.

It wasn’t a character assassination, just a “this is a stupid thing to base a religion on” satire, just like their scientology episode.

I don't think audience members will be “Ronwry”. The music in “Team America (world police)” was excellent. The thoughtful retrospective “America F*ck Yeah!” ‘bummer remix’ was an absolute classic.
