It's a good thing Trey Parker and Matt Stone like controversy because it sounds like they're in for quite a lot of it with their newest project - a Broadway musical based on the lives and loves of Mormons!

Well, it’s not the first time for musicals or Mormons... I think they love both equally!
Bummer that it’s on broadway though, how am I supposed to see it!
dum de dum dum dum...
Martin Haris dum dum dum dum dum, Lucy Harris smart smart smart smart smart.
LOL!!!
That episode where they make fun of Mormons was hillarious! Make fun of everyone equally I always say.
I am surprised they didn’t make a musical based on Scientology.
That "In the Closet" episode from Season 9 is one of my favorites.
What I like about South Park is they are happy to skewer anyone, no topic is off limits, no side is safe.
They did an equally funny episode on Scientology which ended up peaving off the hollywierd crowd.
This is freakin awesome. Not only funny, but the music they score is on a par with, or beyond, anything you can find on Broadway today.
OMG they are so out of control LOL!
Nothing like attacking Mitt Romney before 2011 even gets here!!!
Get ready! This is just the beginning of mormon parody from the creative folks in the arts!
Yes, it was hillarious,
but it also showed Mormons as having very strong family values, good hearts, and good lives.
It wasn’t a character assassination, just a “this is a stupid thing to base a religion on” satire, just like their scientology episode.
They tried. The network’s parent company censored them.
