They tried to make fun of Islamists as part of the “Family Guy” parodies, but Comedy Central censored them. So it’s not for lack of effort from Stone and Parker.

They are going to have to add a storyline that shows the modern Mormon church conspiring to elect a Mormon President through a ‘hate the gays” campaign that unites them with idiotic Christians who also think it is okay to “hate the sinner” instead of ‘love the sinner” as true Christians are to “turn the other cheek” as they “bless those who wickedly curse you”
Another subplot needs to be the fundamentalist, i.e. those who actually do what the Book of Mormon teaches, and how they wife swap for underage girls.
All because a full length Broadway musical needs more plot than their half hour tv show spoof.

They did come up with an episode doing that. Comedy central censored it.

I am surprised they didnt make a musical based on Scientology. The "Trapped In the Closet" episode in part parodies R. Kelly's "hip-hopera" of the same name.

Contrary to what you have heard they are cowards when it comes to dealing with Islam.

Contrary to what you have heard they are cowards when it comes to dealing with Islam. No they are not. While there was the controversy over removing Mohamed from one episode, he was appearing in the opening credits of that same episode and all the other episodes that season. He also had a starring role in the Super Best Friends episode.
