But apparently, the bigotry of his own employer was lost on ESPN prettyboy Chris Fowler. The "College Game Day" broadcaster announced to viewers that if you didn't vote for Barack Obama, you won't hire a Black coach. In other words, if you didn't vote for Obama, you're a racist.

The dumb@ss talking heads said they needed a mandatory “must interview a black” rule like the NFL...never once realizing they were blowing the Obama comparison....like, what, we had a “must let a black run for president” rule? These are the true racists.

Here’s a question: why aren’t these “race baiter” types being punched in the face?

I’ve always thought that you shouldn’t say things too lightly, or at least fail to realize that your mouth is writing checks you must cash. (IE Insult someone hard/often enough, you have it coming.)

Funny...ESPN doesn’t even understand sports, let alone politics.

I watched a game last weekend (Northwestern, I believe) and changed the channels after the PxP guy made a similar comment. My immediate though was what you wrote.

Love Kurt H. and the other guy. This is so funny about Chris Fowler...I have seen Kurt and the other man talk about this and that while Chris fell back not wanting to get into anything controversial. So, this comes as no surpirse to me as I always said...there is something about Chris I do not like nor trust. Here it is and I was right all along. Can’t beat intuition!!!

funny thing though- the lead studio analyst for EPSN’s college football is not black either....in fact except for one black analyst (Mark May) all the studio analysts are white...the lead team (Fowler, Herbstriet, Croso) are all white....

Folwer should take a stand by stepping down from his perch and demanding ESPN replace him with a black person....once that happens I’ll be in my back yard pulling the ten dollar bills off my money tree...

I used to read Pro Football Weekly- the lead editor and owner, Hub Arkush, is an outright leftist who interjects politics in his editorial column (hence I ended my subscription several years ago)...

one funny column had to do with Tony Dungy and the “shame” of not enough black head coaches in the NFL- funny thing though, when I looked at the top left hand part of the first page where they listed the editor, assoc editor, columnists, etc guess what??? Arkush chose not to employ a single black person at PFW for one of those positions....

I only watch ESPN when it’s absolutely necessary. Is there a quota system for black college coaches now? Seems like it.

Skin color is no guarantee of success as a head coach. Look at the hundreds of white guys who’ve failed.

ESPN has been gushing over Obama since the election was decided. I’m sick to bleeping death of it already.

He’s full of crap! I didn’t vote for Obama* and Tony Dungy, a Black man, is coach of my favorite NFL team - Indianapolis Colts. I’d hire him in a millisecond if I were in a position to do so. Liberals are such idiots. And racists! They project their own idiocy and racism on anyone who is not like them.

*and it had nothing to do with him being Black. The fact that he’s RED (Marxist/commie) was my main concern.

I stopped listening to sports talk radio here in Chicago.

Always leftist policalism seeping in.

Tuned in spontaneously for Cubs news a while back - got a two-minute mockery of Sarah Palin. Went back to not listening.

Really, it's just so tiresome. Are Liberals so OCD that they can't even talk about sports without obsessing politics into it?

Tagline theft!

“I have never voted for a black man whose greatest strength as a candidate was being black.”

Thanks...

I’m not ashamed to be a racist. In my entire adult life, I have never voted for a black socialist. I have never voted for a black communist, whether a national socialist or a soviet socialist. I have never even voted for a black anti-American terrorist sympathizer. I refuse to vote for a black man whose past life totally lacks accomplishments, and I even shun black candidates who are ashamed of my country. I have never voted for a black man whose greatest strength as a candidate was being black. This is what is known as racism, and I plead guilty. It’s not relevant to the discussion, but I also refuse to vote for white candidates and even Asians to whom comparable descriptions apply.”

You left out “I will not vote for a candidate of ANY color who refuses to produce a valid birth certificate”

ESPN already has some incompetent women doing in studio work on college football each Saturday. It's bad. One listen to them and you know its affirmative action.

They also have a woman or an in betweener doing play by play, usually of the Wisconsin games. “Her” voice was so awful, I dashed to turn the sound off. They showed “her” on camera. It's either the world's ugliest woman or somebody in transition.

I knew they'd get around to talking down to us. Winning isn't good enough for them. They have to rub our faces in it. Plus Fowler might be the next Olbermann. Never know.
