The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

If I had access to about a dozen blank short COLB forms and a raised seal stamper, I could probably whip up just about the same things as FactCheck has photographed. Just need some photoshop and a little time; the content can be whatever random crap suits you.
At least until the original long-form copy comes out; then it’s game over, because the lie is exposed.
THAT is why it’s so important to see the real form, and why the FactCheck short COLBs are useless, even if they are legitimately from the State of Hawaii.
Well, we do need the numbers to win in 2012, don’t you think? Can we really pull it off with just the base? It would be nice, but I don’t know if it is practical.

You want US, WE AMERICANS, to have to PROVE that Obama is eligible. Lady, you have it all backwards. This man wants to be President and he is the one that should have immediately released his birth records, medical records and every other record (like his college days).
You’re not weighing all the evidence, IMO. The only evidence we need is for Obama to release his birth certificate and every other record he has hidden.

I think he has released it. My best guess would be that either they think what he released is sufficient or feel that whatever he releases will be viewed as a forgery.

Oh, I've done a lot of squealing. It's not a forged document, but a forged document image, because there never was a birth certificate document for Obama to begin with.
Everything claimed to be a copy of Obama's real birth certificate is bogus. Scan? Bogus! Photos? Bogus. If Obama was really born in Hawaii, we would have heard the entire State Government of Hawaii yelling it from the roof tops.

Here’s the problem, in a nut shell. You cited, “Officials of the state of Hawaii have confirmed that the Obama Certification of Live Birth is genuine and that the original is on file.” The COLB can be genuine from HI and the person certifying it can be honest, yet the facts on the original could state clearly that the child was born in Kenya and an HI COLB was issued on request, in 1961. THAT is why so many of US demand this lying bastard produce proof he is eligible by Constitutional standards to be sworn ina s president.
My point was that there were two arguments which did indeed run round and round. Folks were saying Obama Sr. was not his daddy and that he was not born in the US but in Kenya. I pointed out that they contradicted each other. If he was born in Kenya, dad was O sr. and therefore parentage not in question. If dad was NOT O sr., then why think he was born in Kenya? Surely this guy was not such a catch as to lie about him as a father.
I hope I was not making the argument more round about, I wanted to point out that it was round about to begin with!
