During my 70th birthday celebration this past weekend, one of the guests, a true independent commented that many of the Obama signs where he lived were no longer up.
His wife agreed and said that in the cutesy area where she worked, many of the Obama signs were gone.
We commented that only one rabid liberal family in our cul de sac put up an Obama sign, and that sign came down the weekend before the election and so did the car stickers.
Since then, my wife and I have observed most of the Obama signs on the roads we drive are gone.
The damn Kerry and Gore signs stayed up until they rotted.
Is anyone else seeing this possible Buyers Remorse or whatever re the removal of Obama signs?

Here in western Loudoun County, Virginia - the 0bama signs were mostly removed by Wednesday 11/5. His organization here was excellent.

In my area the Republican party does clean up shortly after the election. So my signs came down with their assistance. The Dems may do similar.

No, down here in Alabammy, they've been arrogantly popping up like fungus on everything since Il Duce scammed his way into office. It's been the McCain/Palin signs that have turned to vapor.

I would think many came down because the election is over.
Those signs will rise up out of a landfill!

They won
Who needs signs
besides keeping them up is often against local ordinances
I’m trying to remember some of the grander houses that had these signs posted, so maybe someday, when the dark and cold take over, I can send them a letter of congratulations for their choice

Um, most cities, have ordinances that Political signs MUST be removed after the election or the campaigns face a fine...not to say buyers remorse is not setting in....
