“””This election really was a repudiation of Bush, greased by the liberal media.””””

Yep, and Republicans in general. I have noticed that the major news networks have stopped reporting frontpage stories 24/7 about the economy ever since the election was over. Its tanking worse now but the reports no longer benefit their agenda, so they are ignored.

Expect fewer gut-wrenching "feed the homeless" news pieces on Thanksgiving also.

The only time the left would be in favor of capital punishment would be if we lined Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld et al.. up in front of a firing squad. The next round of people to be executed would be the top execs at Haliburton.

“”””May they spend two years on this, to the neglect of everything else””””

I remember as a child playing baseball. I was pitching and the coach took me out of the game. I was so upset that I took joy in watching my relief pitcher stink it up. I was hoping that the other team would knock a couple out of the park and we would loose. That would have made me look good.

I see how silly that was now.

Well sure they are...they fix all the pending senate races and then prosecute the leaders of the opposing party. Nothing here...move on.

Maybe it's just a diversion while they craft all their nifty new bills

I'm inclined to agree with you on this one. The brightly lit circus is to keep their loony base preoccupied while they pull the old switch-a-roo under cover of darkness. They seem to like the cover of darkness. If anyone thinks Bill Ayers and Rahm Emanuel are going to let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to completely overhaul America slip through their grasp, the circus is doing its job. A complete restructuring of this country "block by block, brick by brick," is all they've been talking about for years (if not decades).

When it comes right down to the nitty gritty, Congress approved everything one way or the other. Now they want to reverse themselves and blame Bush.

So much for looking forward and change. Instead we will have petty partisan witch hunts.

How juvenile!! The nation has more important issues, that is, REAL issues, to address.

You get a standing OVATION for that. I completely agree and am proud to say it!

I say to the dems - BRING. IT. ON. and remember that the precedent will be set for ALL former presidents including the great and powerful BO. Maybe then we could get the truth about Ayers, Rezko, Khalidi and even the real Birth Certificate.

Are they deliberately trying to get their approval numbers to zero to set some type of CodePinko standard approval?

It is possible the growing economic crisis will not give them time for this.

Welcome to the third world.

This is where elections are postponed, suspended, ballot boxes stuffed, etc; because the party that loses power also loses their property freedom and lives.

Investigations of the prior administration are SO THIRD WORLD. In the USA we like to accuse and prosecute Presidents WHILE they are in office.

As a party, we’re too nice, too quiet, and appear to be abandoning the GOP. Back to work, back to “our lives”, and so on. No wonder we lost.
