ARLINGTON - An American flag and the way it has been displayed is at the center of a dispute between neighbors that began after the 2008 presidential election.
Ever since 9/11, Arlington neighbors Patrick O'Toole and Sharon Garner both flew the American flag patriotically in front of their homes, until now.
In protest to the election results, O'Toole now flies a black flag above an upside down American flag.
"I just don't think it's American," said Garner. "I just don't think it's neighborly. We have children that live in our neighborhood and I'm sure their parents have to explain to them why that flag is hanging like that."
The flag is something Garner holds close to her heart. In fact, the American flag is painted on Garner's birdhouse and bench.

Hanging the American flag upside down is a sign for distress. If life and property are in peril then it is Ok to hang the flad upside down. To me it is too soon but one person who I know who has been doing it for years and does so because millions had their life snuffed out due to abortion.
I find it “interesting” that the Left keeps comparing this to 9-11 rather than the day that the civil rights bill was passed.
This is just more of the Clinton’s “sit down and shut up”.

Whenever a moonbat tells you we should “pull together”, just tell them, for the past 8 years every leftist undermined a good man and the war effort every chance they had, and when challenged that they were truly damaging the country, they said, “Dissent is Patriotic”.
Dissent is Patriotic. Tell them Obama is going to get what the left dished out to Bush for 8 years, and it’s their turn to whine.
Libs are IMMUNE to logic.
Try it sometime - it’s easy to logic trap them, like on abortion or redistribution policy.
But, when you get down to closing the trap, they simply shrug their shoulders or hold up their hand, refusing to hear or respond.
Leftists love to use this line once they have power because they know we have jobs and real lives to live.
One of my vendors, a real leftist was running her mouth how Obamamama might not run for a second term because he may not be able to clean up the economic mess the Republicans made.
I then went through what all the Dims did and told her the true account how the economy melted and named all the names of all the congressmen and Dims who actually did the dirty deed.
Confronted with this fact she then said I should not be accusing anyone and that instead we should just come together and stop arguing. Which is the way all leftists work.
Too bad that when the crisis could have been avoided the Dims, like Barney Frank, who was in the tank and taking money from the agencies involved, stopped any reform.

The highest moral obligation that anyone can have now
is to work hard to structure your income such that you pay as little taxes to fund the beast as possible.

I’d like to get some people who’ve done it, some people who are interested, and some people who are pros in the tax/accounting area.

The neighbor observing the unside down flag should simply dial 911, report it to the dispatcher and let the authorities respond. If nothing of distress requiring their assistance is found, then the state can prosecute for false alarm.
