Many years ago when the show only had a few years under its belt, Alan was a pretty good guy. He was always on the Liberal side but he was rational and you could talk to him. Now he’s nothing more than Carvel on valium. I know its a job and entertainment, but in reality I don’t even waste my breath on people like Alan
I was watching this show tonight. The campaign manager for McCain came on and straightened out all those idiotic rumors. My jaw dropped to the floor the other night when that ditz Carl Cameron spouted all that crap from his “unnamed sources” and O’Reilly just sat there and let him shoot his mouth off. “No spin zone?” Hardly.
I’ve changed my TV viewing schedule to watch the O’Reilly Factor only when Laura Ingraham is guest hosting, and Mr Bill can go fish.
FOX News has been on in my house almost 24/7 since 2002.
I never thought I would say this..but no more.

I have the internet— heck even watching F & F in the morning is like a rerun of FREE REPUBLIC from the day before....
I call DC everyday— and have even broken some stories...I just don’t need them.
I might watch FOX business for Cavuto— but other than that— I just don’t need them...
gossip is not news— let alone unsourced and unnamed — especially when they hide stories like they did on Edwards and Jesse Jackson..
news is news...I have always defended them on being fair and not right wing enough for us...
but all out attacks on Sarah- in an effort to force her onto their station to defend it is pure shameless CHIT!

I’m sorry, I just don’t get it. I think she is a very good person and that she did bring some much needed excitement to the GOP this election, but I just don’t see the complete devotion that so many people have towards someone that up until 3 months ago was virtually unknown. Isn’t this the same kind of thing that we have (rightfully) been mocking dims for in relation to obama? The fact is that she might make a fine candidate in 4 years but she has A LOT of work to do and A LOT to learn.

I think she had 1 bad interview. She got better as she went. It was a learning experiance.
But we can not make the mistake of letting her go. She has JFK-Reagan like charisma. and is true conservative.

The last straw was when Carl Cameron spread the lies about Sarah Palin. The worst kind of yellow journalism. I recommend the Animal Planet channel and National Geographic. I get the news from the Internet, especially FR.
Personally, I just don’t see it. That’s not to say that I won’t feel differently in a few years. I’m just going to hold judgment on it until I have gotten to know her better. Remember, she is completely new to the national scene and that in situations like this it is easy to look at things with rose colored glasses, and to see things as you want them to be rather than how they actually are. Maybe she will prove herself to be great conservative leader, and maybe she will prove herself to be a flash in the pan who gets overwhelmed by the spotlight. My point is that we haven’t seen her, or been paying attention to her long enough to make any definite judgments on any of this yet. Although I will say - and I’m sure I’m in the minority here on FR - that I was quite disappointed by her VP debate performance.
I heard replays. Chris has had some stability problems since the ‘thrill up my leg’ incident.
I dunno, but if she isn’t a presidential candidate in 2012, I will write her in. What the hell do I have to lose? The lame R-Party will let us down again. You can take that to the government owned bank!
There is nothing fair or balanced about allowing a liar like Colmes to lie. He purposefully omits key facts in his statements and even repeats known lies. He is a mouthpiece of the far left. FoxNews Channel is no longer part of my favorite channel line up. I skip it.
